    Hi, do you think you can fish ned (not ultra light) and light-medium rigs with this rod?

    • @TackleCrew
      @TackleCrew  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      You can, it will perhaps not be the best rod for it. The 6’10 spinning is usually the choice for ned.

    Thinking of grabbing this rod (272MH) or the 270MH+. Have you had a chance to have the MH+ in your hand ?

    • @TackleCrew
      @TackleCrew  ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately, we have not tried the 270MH+

    Is it made for jigging? Would you recommend it for jigging only?

    • @TackleCrew
      @TackleCrew  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes great rod, very sensitive. It’s not a finess rod, but great all round jigging!

      Wait, if not for finess or jigging, what is it made for then? @@TackleCrew

      It’s not It made for jigging. The manufacturers will put this in description Sometimes it’s a fishing rod. It’s medium heavy you can use it for whatever it’s applicable for.

    I think this rod is the one I have been looking for! I fish chatterbaits at night a lot and dont like using casting rods because of the higher chance of backlashes at night....each backlash usually mean loosing the Jack hammer!! What reel do you suggest? I was thinking the 4k stradic or the new 4k Vanford.

    • @TackleCrew
      @TackleCrew  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The new Vanford is a really good option 👍🏻

    Perchilla 4-18 best rod in my set up for the price 👍

      Nice! Have not fished it, but I have held the Perchzilla Ned. Currently looking into the PerchZilla Heavy for baitcasting also..!

      @@TackleCrew Nice if you’re having the chance go for it but I like the old perchilla 4-18 more with the kork handel ✌️

    You’re confusing action with power. you can have two rods that feel exactly the same in your hand but the difference is a medium, heavy rod, has more strength overall versus a medium. Also, the lure rating is higher on a medium heavy rod cause it’s meant to cast and retrieve heavier lures. The action on that rod is nothing new it’s a fast action rod! 🧐
