Grym video!👌 Jag letar specifikt efter ett jiggspinn att köra bottenkontaktfiske med 10g skallar o uppåt. Skulle du rekommendera 172mh till det ändamålet?😁 Eller är den så styv att den är mer optimal för ännu tyngre? Vill ju inte att det ska kännas gäddpåkigt med 10g skalle😃.
Sen att svara här. Du klarar dig på 7-21g-spöt på 10g skallar. Men 14-15 och uppåt är 172mh bra för. Det är ”elektriskt” nästan, väldigt känsligt spö. Stor abborre (eller djupt fiske/tunga skallar) + gös är det bra för.
I know I’m really late to this but about to purchase the 6’10 M but wanna throw jerkbaits light top water and light jigs. You think the 6’10 M can handle all that great if I throw 3/8 oz jigs and lighter ?

Great video man. Let me ask you your opinion on this. I fish almost exclusively 10g jig heads and soft plastic. Would you say the M or a ML if i want the most distance?
Personal preference, but I would say go for the M. You get great distance and great sensitivity with your jig heads, also able to set the hook well.
Do you feel like the action on the M and MH are accurate? I've heard some reviews saying the medium is closer to a MH and the MH is closer to a H. Great videos!
Yes they feel accurate - but I guess it depends on what you compare it to. SLX medium is softer than Expride. But Curado is comparable. I think Zodias is stiffer than Expride. With the Expride I think it can be perceived as MH and H..but once you put line on there and they load up when you catch something they perform accurately 👍🏻
@Tackle Crew I appreciate the response. This will be my first higher end rod and I'm trying to figure out which one is the most versatile for shore fishing. I tend to mostly use lighter jigs around 10 grams. If you could only pick one rod, would you go with the M or MH?
M is the one to go for in our opinion!

Hello! Please tell me, do you see a big difference between Shimano Expride 610M and Shimano Poison Adrena 610M? Is it possible to say that Shimano Poison Adrena will be much better because of more technologies in it? Or maybe they have the same blanks and main difference in the design? It's hard to choose one of them. Does it make sense to overpay for Adrena?
In our opinion you have a big difference between Zodias and Expride. You will notice the difference. But going from an Expride to a Poison will not be as big of a difference.

What is better, the 1+1 or the 2 piece rod in terms pf sensitivity?
Honestly no big difference in sensitivity but possibly in durability(1+1)

What line do you use for your expride 610M and how long leader if using braid?
Braid, mostly Spiderwire X12 in 0.11mm. Usually 60cm fluorocarbon leader in 0.40mm tied directly to the braid.
Please tell me how shimano expride 172MH copes with the jerky wiring of 130 wobbles?????

It is marked as “Moderate Fast”, but I think Shimano rods are normally faster than other rods. So we would say that it is “Fast “rather than “Moderate Fast”. Hope that helps
