    Thank you guys for providing balance points and real world weights! That info is critical especially for guys that don’t have the chance to feel a rod before purchasing. I purchased this exact model Expride few weeks ago from Omnia and I would say your evaluations were spot on. That 7-2 MH graphite model would be another popular one to showcase.

    Great weight and action with it being a glass composite makeup! The tip is fiberglass and transitions into a nice graphite backbone! Tiny tip heavy but solid Chatterbait and cranking rod

    7’2ML and 6’10ML spinning rods please
    I was also going to say I believe the 7’2”MH Glass is actually a composite graphite/fiberglass blend. I have an older zodias 7’2” MH glass which is definitely a glass rod and fairly dead, but the expride feels totally different in hand.
    Thanks for the videos.

      I can honestly say that the 6’10” ml spinning rod is awesome. I also have the nrx+ 6’10” NRR and I prefer the Expride.

    I use all three between composite, graphite, and fiberglass. Composite for chatterbaits and fiberglass for cranking. Graphite for everything else. Seems to work well for me.

    Want to see the 7-2 Medium. I like to run two swimjig setups...one fluoro and the other 30# braid on a medium power rod.

    I want to ask, is this shimamo expride glass casting rod suitable for using top water lures such as pencil, popper, soft frog other than cheaterbait lure?This is because this shimano expride rod is actually made of glass and not graphite.What I understand so far, the blank rod is made of glass, it is strong but less sensitive than graphite which is more sensitive but it is fragile and not as strong as glass.

    Just happened to bump into your channel and it looks awesome. I hope someday, you'll be able to talk about or do a review of the 2024 Shimano Jackall Poison Adrena casting rod. Cheers, buddy..

    how does this rod compare to the Zodias MH Mod Glass?

    • @omniafishing
      @omniafishing  12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The Expride is slightly lighter, crisper and faster in action, but the Zodias is still an excellent rod!
