I once stumped Galen Govier on a code. This was way way back before the internet was what it is today. It took him months to get back to me and he agreed it was a trim code. I used various books Galen’s and others for this code. He offered me a job after that. I had had a stroke (it’s why I sold my 70 Coronet R/T 1 of 1 car) and couldn’t do the job. Galen was awesome and always willing to talk.
here a mopar guy from argentina,my car is a 70 dodge gtx A bodie hard top coupe,318,four speed, builded in argentina from 1970 to 79.love your channel guys, god bless you all brothers!
🤦♂️. Let’s continue where I pressed the wrong button…. Glad I did… I’m in Australia, and have a 73 440 roadrunner. Not totally original, has a 75 warranty swap motor( documented) and was originally bronze, now plum crazy.. ( again documented with photos. Original torqueflite, original bench seat interior, 83/4 rear. Solid car…. Insurance slips from 74 onwards. Etc etc. A rare car in Australia. I keep it hidden, but run the motor weekly. Anyway, just subscribed and am looking forward to seeing more. 🙌
At 8:53 in the video, they talk about the Misty Turquoise LS6 chevelle, one of three known to exist, and it being the rarest color. I also owned a factory code 34 Misty Turquoise LS6 4 speed. That would make it #4 and the second with a four speed.Mine had a B top, for black vinyl. I know of where the car is today and its numbers matching. It’s also not currently registered in the chevelle LS6 registry. VERY rare color indeed!! Less than 3% in that color!!!
Nice to see guys who bring these cars back to life. I have been through a few myself. Problem is I buy them and start on them and then someone buys them before they are done. Many I wished I had just kept and stopped working so much on them and just kept the one and done.
Great video of my old car. Glad you got it. BTW, the two 71 pink Challengers are 318 cars. I'll have to tell you more about the '72 big block Panther Pink vehicle.
I’ve known Nick, the old owner for 45 years. I was there when he bought the Charger in Pamona CA. So 40 + years I’ve been around it. I had a 69 Charger at that time. I live in KC now.
Anyone else need a Xanax during the driving part of this video on the interstate? Great video! I love Panther Pink cars. Missed out on a 340 Duster back in the day that was FM3. I was trying to restore my 1970 Coronet R/T that is a one of one (Galen Govier said so). It is a Black body, black top, white bucket seats and stripe delete car. The sister car to mine was in the movie Lockup. Wish I still owned it and had gotten to finish it.
I just want to say I am in love with that green A12 Super Bee you guys are selling in AZ at Mecum I won't be bidding on it but just wanted to let you know what a awesome car and it has my favorite exterior color with my favorite interior color. That car is sexy AF.
Really enjoy your show guys. Do something with your logo during the show. Maybe reducing the size in the corner? I find it a bit distracting all through the vid. But, well wishes for continued success 👍
Ps… u guys live in the land of mopar. For me to own one, here, and I chased hard, and ain’t a wealthy man, this ROADRUNNER, with its many imperfections? Is my Holly Grail. And, I know you guys get that. Last took it out about a month ago, with my daughter. It wasn’t clean🤦♂️…… but one guy pulled me up and said’ MAGNIFICENT CAR MATE…….. another older Australian bloke came up to me in the car park and said ‘What is a Ply-mouth🤦♂️. FRIKIN love my car guys! 🙌👋🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘
My friend had a 71 satellite sebring 383 ,4spd , pistol grip ,posi 8³/⁴ , hemi orange w/woodgrain sides, crome tips on dual exhaust, rally wheels, split bench hi back seats, station wagon I've been trying to find this car it was in Shelby twp. Michigan he died 25 years ago his girlfriend sold it.
That’s just a great car I’m building a 1972 Charger SE Brougham but I changed some stuff around it’s an original Y1 top banana color but I put a stroked 440 (512) cu. In. Six pack with FiTech six pack on it Strange 60 out back will wood brakes Cal Tracs , Rally doors a Ramcharger hood
We are learning, thanks for the input. We’re new at this & It’s actually a lot harder in the moment than people think. Always looking to improve so thank you for the reminder 👍
Is it just something Mopar did with the pink cars is have them bench seat column shift lol my ex boss has a 70 panther pink superbee 383 4 barrel column shift or was column shift I think when he restored it he put floor shift with console
While I love all cars of the era from 1964-1972, I find it sad that Chrysler really only made their best cars from approximately 1964-1971. Sorry Lee Iacocca, the K Car “ain’t cuttin it for me”!

Awesome channel! While chargers only became a “face a mother could love” type cars after ‘70, still an awesome find. Subscribed

I gave it a quick lookover at MCACN. Such an amazing car. I fell in love with everything about it.

I get nostalgic every time I watch. I was 15 when I bought my first car, a 68 Roadrunner 383 4 speed. It got stolen, stripped and set on fire. 😢
I love the body stile of the 71 to 74 charger

Thanks for the sub!
Cool video, As a critique you need to work on letting the owners talk more when they are trying to explain something to you about the car.
