Hidden Gem for sure, some of those had the 340/383/440 engines with corresponding flat black side decals and this one is the HEMI! Love it. And the story that his wife got a 1970 Dart Swinger 340 made me so happy for her. My Dad bought a new Swinger 340 factory 4 spd Hurst shifter right out of the showroom when we laid eyes on it in 1970! He never took it down the track because they had started where you had to install scatter shields on the trans to go down the track then. I really wish I could thank my Dad (in person still) for all of the super cars he bought, and bought for me, and the Sundays at the track we had with several of his cars. The list was long and not just Mopar (sorry!). Great find once again guys.
I saw the Zack Reynolds '71 Hemi cuda before ANYONE in the hobby on it's second day in Don Miller's NC auto racing HoF in Mooresville NC when it still had the luggage rack back in 2001....
Of all the cars I’ve seen you guys pull this one is for the record book. Great team effort and how cool is it that the old owners kept it in such incredible shape. Wow. What a specimen
@ChasingMusclecars_Mopars5150 I've watched you gents since the start, still can't believe the way youens found it! Best find I've seen! The condition is just mind blowin!! Congratulations again!!!
What a find guys congrats. It’s crazy but they are still out there hidden away. I’ve found some really cool cars from T/A’s to big block Mustang’s. Recently I found a very nicely optioned survivor 69’ rs z28. But a real deal unrestored 71’ hemi Cuda is truly a holy grail find for sure. Finding a cool Mopar is on my list on my list.
I've got a factory X9 Black 1969 Charger R/T SE sitting in my garage, V1X Black Vinyl Roof, V88 Stripe Delete in 'minty' original condition ? Unrestored, unrebuilt, unmolested, even the damn exhaust system is original.... Sheet/Tag all #'s there, runs/drives beautifully with no issues. Sold new in San Diego to a USN Fighter Jockey at Miramar afb for 'Top Gun"..... mid 70's came to Canada as marital property when he wed a Canadian gal.... parked in a garage only logging 8,000 miles over 35 years until 2013 when I acquired it. Just say'in.... they are STILL out there !
MCACN See you there! Got to see this in real life ! Glad you got to meat the owner and get him and his daughter on video! Very special, my new favorite video #1 Gonna be hard to EVER beat this Troy!!!! Congratulations to you and Dalton! Thank you and Tony for sharing this real life dream with us! PS. I never want to hear you and Tony in the back seat of any car , ever again 😂 Conrad
@58:44 nope old guys will hang on to them until they pass.... My old man is the original owner of a 70 Cuda 440 6barrel...He still takes it out on nice days. He said besides close family, without the Cuda he would rather be dead! Don't ask, it will never be for sale. I still own a 1968 440 Magnum Charger R/T I bought in 1985 as a teen. Never wrecked it but only a repaint, driver seat repair and engine rebuild never for sale either. I bought my first car at 14. I always had other Mopar cars to beat on but babied the Charger. The 70 Cuda ran upper 11's in the 1/4 mile 2 weeks after he bought it in July 1970.The skinny bias ply tires never hooked and old magazine tests make me cringe. Did you see the road test of the new 1968 Charger 318 2bbl, yes 318 that ran mid 7's to 60 and 15's in the 1/4, the testers even said it spun on take-off. This was a brand new 68 Charger 318 2bbl and 3.23 gears. I did own a 69 Coronet with a 318 2bbl and 3.23 gears if felt quick never did run it, I only had it for 2 weeks and made $1200 back in 1988, again $1,200 for a teen in 1988 was good money, it was not the same as $1,200 today it was the same as making $3,200 today not bad for a flip car back in the day, even today not bad for a 21 year old car that we never knew would be worth more, even a lowly 318 car lol.
Something looks wrong with it, hope you guys got a good deal on. Did it have a build sheet? I skipped through the video a little to get to the good stuff. Great find! Passenger side fend looks off on fit and the painted front end got me worried ahhhh. I’m guessing $225,000. Dam I hope 🤞 you find a build sheet and some warranty block info. Exciting!
I like the 70 cuda better with the open mouth front end, looks meaner to me, and I know the 71 is way more rare but think they got a little to gotty with it, dislike none functional stuff stuff they added to cars, like the smooth no nonsense stuff better
You may not have realized it when you bought it, but I’m pretty sure that car was a sign of things to come! That is the factory Republican Red paint on it right?😂
anr I had a 71 barracuda convetable six cylinder three speed on the floor came from the original owner manual convertible top no radio girl bought it new I had it in 1980
@randywachniak7023 Bein a 1971 Hemi Cuda makes it sure special! 108 was all that was produced, hear me talkin to ya! Sure wish I could have it. Have a good weekend gent.

All of those unrestored cars are beautiful! Id take survivor over a restored car any day!
What did you pay for it?

That is the factory Republican Red paint on it right?😂
😂😂😂😂
Please do an update on this car!!
You can find small updates on our Instagram account, she’s running & driving now
Do you guys work with Ryan Brutt to find cars?
No sir but we would if he offered something up 👍👍
anr I had a 71 barracuda convetable six cylinder three speed on the floor came from the original owner manual convertible top no radio girl bought it new I had it in 1980
Did it drive anyone else crazy maneuvering around the box spring?
Unfortunately there is never a perfect setting 🤷♂️😂
Buy the Grand National from owner as well
Trying!🤞🤞🤞🤞
56:35 The old man now realizes he gave a screaming deal.....sellers remorse, big time family didn't do their homework.
They got an appraisal this year prior to sale.
i dont care who u are, there is no way i would take a cashier's check.wire transfer or straight cash only.
$300-400K or more?
We offered cash or direct deposit, we put that info in the caption below in the video when we were talking about it
Doesn't have the original block....no 4 spd...it's cool...but....nothing special
Clueless
Your crazy ,go find another like it .
