We share the field with our neighbor. Half of them are his (the non-Mopars). He won’t part with any of them. I tried… The Mopars are ours. And they are up for grabs. Some are actively listed for sale. 👍
We pulled an F-150 4X4 out of a barn & through a ravine which was fun when the brake line let go. At least the parking brake worked so I did not hit the tow vehicle and the parking brake did not stick on! Nice Mopar you have there.
I remember seeing the side stripes and that interior as a special package. I looked in my 1975 Dodge Dart catalog and there was no mention of it, or any photo. I went to my 1976 Dodge Dart catalog. Here's what I found. "Something bold and striking - the Dart Decorator package. Low-back, red vinyl seats with Boca Rotan cloth inserts. Color-keyed shag carpeting on floor and lower door panels. Wood grain instrunment panel, Deluxe steering wheel, and rear seat arm rests. Optional on Dart Sport models." Word for word from the catalog. I'm guessing they had the package available after the 1975 Dart catalog was printed and that's why it didn't make the catalog in 75. There is only 1 interior photo and it shows a bench front split seat with this special cloth. There sure can't be too many they made in 2 years. The stripe around the sides of your Dart are part of the package. Does yours have these other interior features exclusive to the Boca Rotan?
@michaeltrudeau9983 From what I've read, this was a mid year special package on the 75 Dart Sport. I've never actually seen this package until this car. Moreover, from what I've read, this was only a one year only package, introduced mid 75. The next year, this exact package was available on the Plymouth as the "Silver Duster". This package was identical down to the stripes and seats, only differing in the steering wheel. I'm going to try to do a video on this package in the spring, when I can get the car out of the snow. (I'm in WI)
😅😂😂. I cut this video from 3.5 hours, to 28 minutes, the whole time telling Jay that I needed this to go out NOW to make UP's day, before the end of the year.
The trunk is definitely the worst part of the car, especially since the fuel tank mounts to it. That and lower quarters and extensions are the main sheet metal issues.
Imagine a content on how to dig and pullout an unsunk piece of light old automobile on a flat, mowed ground. Actually all these folks end up doing is replace tires and tow just a few yards. And they call it interesting content.
Awesome 😎
Thank you!
I’m glad “Roxy” is getting the attention it deserves. 👍 That was the name the previous owners named it.
I can’t wait to see what you do with it! 😎😃
Thanks for saving it! One more MoPar will be on the road.
All those cars and trucks should be advertised for rescue, it's criminal to just let them sit there and rot.

Three young guys come to work and join in. They couldn't even change a tyre. Umm. Cool car. Rotten for californium plates.
