Ain't nothing simple or easy about this. I've got about a dozen new scratches and puncture wounds, and the little devil's in the corner glaring at me like I'M the jerk.
My mom did this to my cat and now it doesn't hurt when she scratches my arm for 3 minutes straight but it does hurt when they violently bite my hands for 5 minutes until I start bleeding
not necessarily, most people think you cant train cats but you can, what i do is when my cats arent use to something i just introduce it to them slowly, for instance i would just sit next to them and turn this grinder on far away from them and then walk away, if anything cats are curious creatures so they would sniff and rub against it, i would eventually use it on them, i also make it a habit to touch their paws and nails so they dont freak out
I also touch and squeeze their nails since they’re a baby so the nail cutting doesn’t scare them but idk what I’d do for this. But I’m interested because the vet did it and it was heaven for like two months when our newest cat was a psycho kitten.
I need this , my leg is all scratched up just from where she climbs on and off of my lap I have been clipping her claws but they are still very sharp thanks for the vid
My cat actually didn't mind the grind..the noise was weird at first. But once he realized what we were doing and I did it in a way he could watch he was pretty ok.

Try every single time you cut or grind the cats nail try giving ut a reward it works for me but still having scratches or bites lol

That grinder (noise) would freak a cat completely out unless it was used to it from infancy. Wouldn't it?!

I'd have a better chance of solving the Palestine-Israel conflict than to get my cat to let me do this to his nails.
