  • This winter has been strange and the fishing surprisingly good. Today the bass were biting the spinnerbait very aggressively. White bass, Crappie , Spotted bass and largemouth bass were all out and active.

Find myself skipping if the chances are too great. Thank you for that reminder

Great video John! We don’t usually have as much of the lowering of the water levels here in Fla. in the winter as you do there. It’s probably more about the connecting rivers and whatever dams they may have, where as in Fla. it’s the lack of frequent rains like in summer. The cooler temps are holding on here in Central Fla., so the fishing style is slow and lazy. Dead stick weightless Senko’s, Zoom flukes, etc. get bit. Great lessons in pushing through tough patches, being big enough to realize you need help, and being humble enough to ask for it, and proving that family and good friends will look out for each other and be there when you need them. God Bless ‘ya all, and looking forward to our next video trip! 😉🙏🎣

    Another successful fishing trip.
    Good variety of species.
Sorry about the headache trying to get through the low water, but it got you where you wanted to be.
We all have to go through similar obstacles, but the reward in the end is worth it.

I’m sitting here watching this youtube video when I finally notice that a freaky beautiful day is happening outside and I could have been out fishing without a jacket in February. Its 4pm and by the time I old get to the creek threre’ll only be about 45 minutes of sunshine left. I haven’t purchased my fishing license yet or organized my tackle box. The ought to be snow on the ground here in NJ. I need to get my act togther.

There are so many times in your vids when you catch bass (especially with the 4" YUM dinger) where you're adjusting your kayak or whatever leaving the bait total dead stickin...this is such a great evidence that dead sticking a softbait works! I think most of us (me especially) over work the bait. Just cast it out and let it sit for a while...it'll get bit! Thanks for taking us along John!

Hey, young man! Looks like you had a great day on the water.....with the exception of getting your Kayak down there to the water, at first. Those were some really nice Largemouth Bass you caught. I haven't caught a 4-Pounder in years! (I might have to look for a better place to fish, I guess).
I love your Scripture Verse, too. I saw a saying that somebody put on TH-cam this morning. It was worded something like this:The evidence of a person being filled with the Holy Spirit isn't about speaking in unknown Tongues, or rolling around on a Church Floor. The true evidence of a person being filled with the Holy Spirit, is seeing them live a CHANGED LIFE!
That is so true, and, after some of the stuff that I've seen in some of these Pentecostal Churches, at least some of the stuff that I saw, was more indicative of Demon Possession! I've seen some really wild stuff in my lifetime, at some of those kinds of Churches, so.....no thanks! I'll just worship God the right way!
