- As you guys saw last week we made it to the airport in Dar Es Salaam to pick up Charlie (Harry's younger brother) and Phil (Harry's best pal) to start their month long trip with us.
The first part of our adventure brought us to Zanzibar, an island just off of the coast of Tanzania. Paradise, if you ask us!
We had such a wonderful time celebrating Christmas here (yes, we are 3 months behind guys!).
Stay tuned for next weeks video where we start the overlanding leg of the journey. Charlie and Phill pick up their very own overlanding rig and we hit the road. Taking of some pretty gnarly off-roading, plus a border crossing.

Zanzibar is lovely, I’m not a beach person but a few days on the beaches there is a great way to unwind from travelling, Stone town is a fun little place and Freddie Mercurys birthplace.
It’s such a beautiful spot for a nice break! That’s right!

Beeeea-uuuuu-tiful! Must get there some day soon, but Cape Town is on the charts later this year for a couple of months. Closest we can get up here in Cusco at 3400m is to stand outside in the rain 😉 Nice Cruiser. Looking forward to the next installment 😊

Haha thanks so much guys! That’s a tricky one but I think snow feels more like home for us when celebrating Christmas.
We loved our Christmas on the beach, don’t get us wrong but I think for us Christmas is all about being with family at home. It was still so awesome!🙌
