My son Just turned 5 in November and was diagnosed with autism. There's so many things that I didn't understand and was having alot of trouble with. Thank you for the videos. I've watched like 5 already back to back. Just subscribed. Really really informative, appreciate the time and effort your putting into these videos

I am in tears. Thank you so much for being so informative and clear about the importance of parent and child relationship. I am guilty of giving in when my son’s tantrums are explosive. He was recently diagnosed with autism at age 3 and I’ve been having a difficult time accepting it. You’re right. I’ve been focusing on the wrong things. The good thing is I got him in speech therapy and ABA within a month of getting his diagnosis. I’m doing my best to get him what he needs but now I need to work on setting a side my feelings and focus on the end goal which is helping him be his best self. Thanks again ❤

My son seeks vestibular input. He knows he is supposed to sit for certain tasks like eating, colouring etc but cannot sit for more than a minute. But he would take a walk around the room, come back to sit, do the activity for another minute, gets u, movement break and comes back. Clearly, he needs to recharge his brain to focus and perform better at that activity through moving. In a car seat, he can sit for 3-4 hours of journey, because Car moves, and it provides the vestibular input that is needed. My whole point is that it is not a choice that some kids cannot sit still.

Thank you for your hardwork. My 18 months old has started a little imitation(not all the time) when i implement your tactic. I just started so it's a Lil too soon to tell. Do you do virtual assessment?

No virtual assessments, we only provide courses, coaching or consultation

Hi @mercy May I ask what the technique is, could you please share

@@kr9352 haven't got around to any techniques just yet. I just stop forcing him to do stuff on my terms( only do stuff when he looks) and let him go if he doesn't. And when I say imitation, I mean actions not words. He'd learn 5 new actions . Trying to teach him more along with words repetition.

@@mercyt4953 Thank you, my son repeats every word we say but action wise its almost non existent. Watching Ms Rachel recently he started imitating jumping when sings the jumping song. Also any suggestions on following instructions. He doesn’t want to listen when we say bring the ball or put down the cup or something. He does care, not sure how I can potty train him if he doesn’t listen and follow commands. He is 3
