I loved making this square! At some point I will actually put this blanket together! Thanks for a great year of tutorials! Looking forward to next year's projects!
Hello Jayda & Mr Stiches❤ I am having so much fun with our last Granny Square❤ I hope I will finish all the 6 squares before I travel for Christmas❤ I am on the tight schedule. Thank you Jayda❤❤❤❤❤
This was so easy. "MY" only hang up was constantly putting a chain 1 after each v stitch UGH. But I did it. My goodness, are we really at the end of this year. This was my first time completing a CAL year blanket. Thank you for another great tutorial and a new granny square. 😊
I completely forgot today was the first Friday in December!! 😂 The bean stitch looks interesting. I’ll be working on it after I finish the little glove I’m working on for a friend. Should be at the beginning of next week. I’m also knitting a daily fair isle knit along with Talvi Knits. It’s so much fun, but I’m 3 days late already! The gloves are a pain! 😣 Pictures soon.
How could this not be a great pattern, when you get to keep saying "beans and V's", "V's and beans"...maybe it's my love of bean dishes...rice and beans, beans and cheese, scrambled eggs and beans...LOL. Anyway, I agree, great way to end the series. Oh no...now hopefully I won't ruin the whole thing with the joining! 😳
For me December is only a halfway through my Calendar Blanket. I decided to go with 4 squares each month and it turned out to be too narrow, so I thought that this time I'd make my blanket a two years long project, even if that meant being creative in 2025 to fit the new patterns to the existing ones. And I'm already dying to know what 2025 patter will look like. Out of curiosity, what's the size of that giant wooden crochet on the shelf? It looks so massive.
Nothing wrong with a 2 year project! You might have to get creative with other granny square patterns out there to get them to fit (like you say) but challenge is part of the fun of crochet! The mega wooden hook I have is 50 mm!
@JaydaInStitches 50mm?! WOW! I would probably need both hands to work with such a big hook. I'm actually planning on adding 2025 Calendar Blanket to the 2024 one, if it's gonna be somehow possible.
Hi Valarie! Bean stitches are just a bunch of loops worked into the same place and there's nothing special about the V-stitches 😊 If it helps, you can think of it as just as regular V Stitch granny square, but instead of making Ch-1s in between each V Stitch you're substituting a Bean Stitch instead 😊
Starting December now. Had a fun time following this calendar blanket, thank you! 🧶😻
❤❤❤ I love these Jayda! Thank you so much for sharing, we love your videos.
Its BEAN a great time making this blanket with you!

I've been dealing with a messed-up back, so I'm behind. But I will persevere! I have enjoyed this year's calendar blanket.

How!? HOW!?!? 😮💨 It can NOT be December ALREADY!!!! 😮💨
I hear "Bean" and just think Toe Beans 🐾💜
I KNOW! How is it the end of another year already?!?!
I’m glad you think of something cute! My first thought was Mr Bean!! 😬🙄🙄🙄🙄 (British comedy actor)
@@smidgentigre yes, I know who Mr. Bean is 🤣 (and I agree, I like my thought better!🤣)
Can you make this a continuous granny square
Absolutely! It's the same pattern repeating, no need to change anything 😁
Can this square be a continuous square and make it one big blanket?
Absolutely! It's just the same pattern repeated and it grows nice and evenly.
@ thank you
I am so sorry for misspelling your name I need glasses and didn't wear them will never happen again 😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Susan, no worries at all! I just saw it in quotations and wondered if you thought that was how I spelled it 😊
I get to watch yippee but being sick no fun
Ohno! Oh Georgi, I hope you get well really soon 💗
@JaydaInStitches working on it. Working on a WIP a temperature blanket for a child. Will put it on etsy. 5 months of a year done.
You get a chance to crochet for penny. Yippee to keep her warm.
Looks way to confusing just like the Jacob's ladder I'm out I will wait for the next years blanket

Hi Jayda. Your videos are too bright and hard to watch. Just let you know and not meant to be negative.
