  • Yale Gully is a line on Mount Washington that rarely ever forms in ski shape. Therefore, it's one of the hardest lines in the White Mountains to tag. Joined by my friend Thor, I had not one, but two missions: Ski a line that's eluded me for years, and get a west coast crusher sold on east coast gnar. After our day skiing Huntington and Tuckerman Ravine, I finally got to repay him for all the adventure's he's dragged me on.

That looked like an incredible day on the mountain. The weather looked great and so did the snow. I skied Tucks for many years and for some reason I stopped, I am not really why. My friends and I are all older now and retired but still skiing at a high level and I do my fair amount of long distance backpacking trips. We are all getting into backcountry skiing now because we have the time. Between watching you and Andrew Drummond your inspiring me to get back to the whites and make some turns. Thanks so much for sharing. Take care

Gotta ask - what gloves are those blue ones?

They’re these Japanese fishing gloves called the Atlas Temres. They are insulated, waterproof, have crazy dexterity and are only like 24 bucks. Really great glove.
