I hiked landslide gully in the summer of 2020. One of the riskiest things I have ever done. More scary than any of the 37 14ers I have climbed. Thanks for sharing!
I’ve been a Tuckerman snowboarding regular for 15 years, just recently did the South Baldface glades and you’re 100%, correct. Tons of powder totally untouched below the tree line.
Wow Ryan, being an old guy (73) and just an intermediate I know I couldn't do a run like that but it sure was fun watching. I know GoPro has a tendency to not show true "steepness" so can't imagine what it was really like!
@@extreme_ryan_delena just got back from a 6 week climbing/riding bender in the Tetons. Looking to score some of this next storm in NH! Love my yearly mission to NH
Epic lines! Quick question: Do you know of any other lines off the face ridge of Jay besides pump house and saddle? I have heard a line called the finger might exist but I am not sure.

That gully must be utter choss in the summer. I can only imagine what you endured
Incredible run. Lifetime westerner but so want to get up that way and check this stuff out.
Very nice, thanks
That was awesome!!
Way to get out there and earn those turns!

Definitely! The presidentials get hammered with wind, but down low there’s plenty opportunities for powder.
Lets gooooo! love this whole zone lets get out there!!
Hell yeah
Going pretty fast through the trees there!

I’m glad that you enjoy the content! GoPro has gotten better with showing steep, but it can’t capture the fear haha!
@@extreme_ryan_delena Gopro videos don't really show the scale, steepness, and consequence of the lines. Nice work bruv

Epic stuff!!
Thank you!
Man...I really wish I knew people this adventurous. I'm nervous to do this alone.
Instagram is a great place to start. Lots of people in the community you can meet there, or take an AIARE course
Awesome!
Earn those turns!!!
Did you take the Greeley Pond trail or the Cross Country ski trail to the base of the slide?
I’ve taken both, but in this video I took the cross country and I think I like that way better!

I know there’s some stuff in between the saddle and pump house, idk the names though. Depending on the year it’s all skiing.
point your skis downhill
I would argue they were downhill for quite a bit of this video. And if they weren’t it was necessary for the terrain.
