I have the first version NKT Arbiter (not dallas) fuzz face, must be 66. Amazing pedal. Thing is, it really makes such a difference what cable and guitar you use. Sometimes it just sucks with the wrong cable. With the right one (my favorite is an old Klotz cable that seems to have a fair amount of capacitance) it just works perfectly.

I Bought it in 1968 but I think it was Laying around in Stock maybe a year or so.It did act up when I was playing and I thought it was Broken so I Stomped hell out of it. I see you made this video 2017. Today you can get a lot of parts.for Fuzz Face. The whole thing is every one will sound Different. Some players are lucky if they get one that sounds good to them. I Love my Fuzz Face. If you take a New one You would be very surprised at how much difference there is in overtones.I think is the quality of all the components. Just my observation. Aside from the fuzz face, I'd say my favorite fuzz would be the burns buzzaround circuit. I've had a few but my fav is the skin pimp 4 knob. Hard to find but worth the effort. Great vid, thanks.

Kingtone Guitar Vintage Fuzz (The Duellist is KILLER- I got one last summer- amazing with a Strat). 3). Deep Trip BOG If you ever come across any “player grade” old lefty Fenders- please give me a shout. Only ones I’ve come across are “collector pieces”, and I like to play my guitars. Peace!
Awesome demo! I also use a treble bleed on my tele and it really adds more clarity rolling down. Did you ever try a Zvex Fuzz Factory? Also based on the Fuzz Face. Waiting for a 2005 one to arrive and I really hope it rocks. Cheers

CJ yes. I like them both. Ive just found what im using to work better for my setup. Oxfuzz is really affordable. And sunface will hold its resale value!

Dario Fossatti a long time ago there was some photos from the "welcome" era. He was using an old nkt275 germanium Arbiter. The record sounds like that as well
I don't understand why Dunlop doesn't make a gray enclosure reissue. They do the really red red, did the really blue blue. The EJ is a very strange booger golden green or something. The JB black is cool, and the Hendrix BC108 can look cool but some are just too blue . Give me a Hammerite gray!

Turns out it was a normal fuzz face that someone gutted and drilled extra hole and added Japanese distortion circuit! 🙄
