Marcos Andre Hi mate. Cheers for the comment, I try my best to do as much as possible. I wish I had the money to do a lot more and do a lot better videos but as long as they are helping I'm happy!
Great video, very helpful. I will be taking mine down to tgm in fleet to get this done soon, but was wondering about the setup I should go for? I only use the car at weekends, so would you recommend your setup for that, or is it much more individual? Many thanks.
Hi mate. Sorry for he delay. I think asking TGM would be the best course of action. My setup works for me as I use it daily and wanted something I can use daily without ruining tyres etc Let me know what setup you end up getting!
im going to do this aswell mine is also daily, just one question why did you put the same camber al round? isnt it better to have somewhat more camber at the front?
Thanks for your reaction friend, i wil give your settings a try next month. most of the other frsu settings discussed on forums is too aggressive for a daily.
dit you try the standard frsu settings: 1 degree neg camber all round 2mm toe in at rear 1mm toe out at front how would this drive on a daily? i cant decide between this and your settings. ive made an appointment for the alignment this friday..
How you finding the toyo proxies? I have them all round on my ep2 and they are just absolute gash for me! Had a set of bald 10 year old eagle F1's and even they were better.
Hi, I have bought ABP Eibach springs for my EP3, and Front camber bolts. I currently have stock suspension and settings. What are the exact measurements I need to specify in order to get correct frsu? Thanks
+jonimatix Hi mate. Sorry i missed this. TBH you are better off speaking to the company you are using to set the car up to see what they think. As I said above, I have 1 Degree of negative camber all round and 0.05 degress of toe in all round. It drives how I like it, but may not suit you. Always best to leave those decisions to a pro!
Hello mate, is that EBC Green stuff pads i see you have? If so what do you think of them? my brakes are in need of a change and i was looking at these. i had yellow stuff on before but i didnt rate them really.... maybe because i got them when they where low... i dunno. But any feedback would be helpful cheers and keep up the videos (Y)
+James Cooper Hi mate. Yes I've used green stuff on most of my cars. I don't track but I do use the car on fast roads daily. I've been really happy with them and no issues!
+EP3Stuff I know you have probably answered this before and i will try and look, but what is your Geo set up? i'v been told a FRSU isn't actually any good? cheers
+James Cooper Hi mate. Final settings for the suspension were: -1 degree negative camber all round, 0.05 degrees toe in all round (total 0.10 toe in front and rear). I went with what I felt was right, a FRSU can be whatever the person setting it up wants TBH so it depends on who did it!
Hello, nice video Thanks .... What is the driving behavior after the conversion? Can I even just install the front of the camber adjustment screws + take your values? Or is it advisable to make the conversion front and back? Best regards
Hi so sorry for the reply so late, your comment got stuck for review. The handling is much better than standard. Driving at higher speeds (80mph+) there is a slight bit more vagueness to the steering but at most driving speeds the handling/turn in is much better. You’re welcome to use my settings but a proper handling setup specialist could probably advise better. Good luck!
Hi mate. I have ABP (made by Eibach) 30mm lowering springs. I've had coilovers before and found them a bit much for the road. As with everything, it's only as good as your setup!!
Hi mate. The car performs very well in the wet. The Toyo T1R are not the best wet performer, I plan to change them this year for some better quality all round tyres.
thanks mate, I`m running -1.7 front camber and -2.2 rear. this was from a previous track setup but on normal roads the car is all over the place. I will set low camber figures with some minimal toe in for the rear cause I have high speed stability issues
+jonimatix Hi mate. If you have the 14mm ones they are 70ft/lb and the 16mm ones are 90ft/lb. I can't remember which ones mine were now but those are the max torque figures for them
Just bought an ep3, The last owner had a fast road setup done by TDI North. But they also fitted bilstein shocks. Great vids btw!
+psp0guy well aren't you lucky then!
Ikr
I like this channel you should post more but a little more like showing the whole process.

+AlphaMuscle hi mate. There's no right or wrong. I like it with the same camber all round, it gives it a nice balanced feel.

Hi mate. I love them in the dry, they are appalling in the wet though! I'll upgrade later in the year to something decent!

hey mate what r u think about COILOVERS SUSPENSION,what u got?

missing wheel nut on the back at 4.34!!
+Tony Flaherty Good spot!
how performs the car on wet with those settings? many thanks

That is a lot of camber, I find with -1 degree I have felt a difference in the higher speed handling.
How much torque did you need to apply to tighten the front camber bolt? Is it 77ft pound?
+jonimatix Hi mate. If you have the 14mm ones they are 70ft/lb and the 16mm ones are 90ft/lb. I can't remember which ones mine were now but those are the max torque figures for them
Front should be slightly toed out, 1mm across the front, 0.5mm each side = 1mm for fast road setup...👍
00:46 anyone noticed the supra behind him?
+Young YMRT I had spotted it drive past in front of me just before!
