2 Product I've spotted at my local card shop ar Battle Heart Tin magearna EX and Volcanion EX for 78USD/107CAD$ each, I don't find any sales for volcanion, and only 2 sales for magearna. Is there a reason for an XY product like that not selling at all ?
Do you think the Japanese Giratina Alt from Lost Abyss will follow the same fate as the Japanese Umbreon Vmax and other chase cards in terms of long term value? The Japanese market seems hard to follow, but some cards end up being worth a lot more than their English versions, just hard to know which ones, i would have figured the Giratina would but its been falling a lot recently

I have picked up some Paldea Evolved, I recommend it to everyone I know. Like it it’s the best SV set imo, beside 151. I think it will be the first SV box to climb fast. There are so many good cards in it and for 100$ a box. It is a steal imo.
I wanted to point out that the roaring moon ex SIR is on the rise. I thought maybe you can check it out before next Mondays video. I was fortunate enough to pick up 3 for 125 a few weeks ago. The guy was trying to sell his collection quickly. I was extremely happy because the card is under rated but just beautiful (and I got them for a steal). Just a few weeks ago it was around $53 but now I checked today and it was around $64.
I think what's happening with twilight masquerade is there are multiple undesirable SIRs and pull rates are already so much tougher than earlier sets that the top 2-3 SIRs are just gonna be that much more inflated. If you look at temporal forces, its much more evenly spread across the board for SIR value. I think twilight will remain this way long term. Average cost for SIR between the two sets is pretty close.
Crown Zenith is a set where I feel like once it starts seeing double digit gains in value, it just won't slow down until per-pack value is above $9. The only thing keeping people from recognizing that it's the greatest set of all time was artificially low values of singles and extreme ease of availability of sealed product. Those are both starting to change now. This is truly a situation where people could miss the bus entirely. It'll pass Fusion Strike and Chilling Reign in value pretty quickly. I do think Lost Origin and Brilliant Stars will pass those 2 sets as well.

Watching a Poke Collect stream on Whatnot and the Evolving Skies etbs were selling for $180-$200 this weekend. Worst part is the owner running the stream kept calling everything a steal at double the value. When Pokemon Go dragonite boxes were selling for $65 we have a problem. I don’t get how anyone falls for the whatnot hype. The 4 vintage Japanese “giveaway” packs are paid for in the first 10 minutes.

Seems like not many content creators are covering evolving skies rainbow secret rares. They are skyrocketing the last few weeks. May want to add them to the next market Monday
Cards to watch from SV era, Steelix (already taking off), Chansey, and Garchomp EX (undervalued at $25, harder to pull than Eevee, Groudon, T-Tar, and Raichu plus is on same level of popularity) Like in no world should Altaria EX be more than Garchomp. Its a great art but its $35 now, was 18 a month ago.

nice to see another rainbow rare appreciator :) i think people just got tired of them because there were so many of them, if they had limited them to maybe 3-4 per set I bet they would be more popular. I recently went through and bought all the rainbows of pokemon I like, hopefully they do well in the future but they just look good in a binder.

It was on sale for like 40 and then they had a coupon you could apply. I snagged some of the Zapdos boxes too for 15-16 bucks a piece. Ended up opening them all though to complete the set.

I just picked up another case of paldea evolved booster boxes, and right after my locals changed the price on the box haha 🎉 that’s the second time they’ve up’d the price after I’ve bought a case from them lol
The raging bolt is only getting bought up the way it is and the price is inflated because everyone using that card with teal mask ogerpon. That is the new meta for the actual card game. I do think the art in the SAR raging bolt is cool but in my opinion the iron crown looks cooler.
The Evolving skies Sylveon was the 1st pack magic on my 1st ever opening on evolving skies packs , I was about sell it for 150$ but I took it out the market 😂 glad I did

I'm 100% aware of the playability. I just don't think it's the players spending that much on a card when there are multiple cards in the set that do the exact same thing for way less. Players usually know not to fomo. This is a new thing that's happening, just like with temporal.

I personally think anyone who invested enough and is going into tournaments are willing to buy the cool flashy looking versions. Just look at skins, and loot crates for videos games. People be spending 1000s on counter stroke knifes and they are 100% cosmetics

I could legit do this with any semi popular card. The only way it's possibly the tcg is if something in twilight is mixing with it.

Raging bolt becoming a meta card in standard rn really raised it's price. the double rare ex jumped up to 6-7ish.
