Can I get a complete BASE SET with only $100? EP. 2 Pokemon Card Challenge

- When I was around 12 years old, I was scammed out of my complete Base Set of Pokemon cards that I spent years building. Now, I've challenged myself to complete a binder of 1999 Base Set Pokémon Cards starting with only $100. As a Full time reseller on Ebay, I need to buy stock with the $100, and flip or sell the items on Ebay to get as much profit as I can. Everything that is earned from my $100 in stock, will be put towards once again, completing the Base Set that I was scammed out of when I was a kid.
I won't be able to use TCGPlayer.com, trollandtoad.com or Ebay.. I'll need to go on Facebook marketplace or pawnshops to find EVERY card in the wild.

I am a little curious on how you’re sorting the Pokémon cards in your binder for base set
They’re in order of number.. but when looking over my binder and the end of the video, I think I’m gonna just re arrange it since there’s so many cards that I don’t have.. it looks a little off

I'd honestly like to try this, but I'm not sure what set I should shoot for, since I either have some of the set or don't really like it in general. That being said I would love to see a 100% Team Rocket Returns attempt for $100, the techniques needed for that would be AMAZING. I honestly don't know if anyone could pull it off.
Torchic is quite expensive - along with the rest of the Gold Stars... The ex cards in that set are near impossible to find - much less at market value. Even if I were to allow free grinding (making money through things like odd jobs, artwork, or online surveys) I believe it would be near impossible to obtain all of the set - and about as hard as a challenge can be without allowing grinding at all.
Legend Maker is another interesting challenge, one that I certainly wouldn't mind shooting for. The gold stars are pretty easy to obtain relatively speaking but still extremely technical. The ex cards are also easier to find but still quite hard in general to get at market value / last sold mean.
If I can pull this off, I’m absolutely doing it again with another set. The team rocket set looks beautiful, so I’m tempted to do that one but maybe I should just do the sets in order? Not sure

Awesome video! Earned my sub for sure, looking forward to future episodes. When listing the ~190 cards, how did you come up with prices? Did you use ebay sold comps of similar condition, or TCG player, or something else? I'm Curious because despite the time and effort it took you, you've inspired me to try to sell some of my cards on ebay too.

My plan is to do another set if this one goes well. A little torn between which set I should tackle next
Where did you get those values for base set cards? I mean nobody pays 350usd for non graded Charizard or 96usd for Venusaur?

Throwing this out there. Chop up your content into shorts and maybe some other videos. If you can monitize the channel then the journey buys more cards
