Hey! Instead of using selected faces and duplicating it, we can also paint the part we want to emit the fluid from?
hello! what if i want to make the object emits fluids from surface and not from the volume? for example an ice cube... the smoke around it shouldn't get into the body cause it's transparent. thank you very much!!! :-)

When I render the fluid, it gets cut, ive tried to change the box volume and activate the autoresize and nothing works, in the render, the smoke still looks cut by the box :(
I did as it is u tell bt when i select emit from object it's not working.. And a warning is appearing... The warning (selected object cannot own a field/emitter/collision. Object must be a surface, mesh,or (for fields or emitters) particle object)) please help wt i've to do
First make sure you've selected the object and the container(object first container next, selection order) the hit emit from object. Second check if you have any kind of emitter in the scene, if you do delete it then select your mesh and container and try to apply emit from object.
it is really hard to properly hear your voice with this audio xD
