Hi! this seems like an amazing addon! I'm having some issues though. I combined all objects into 1 single object. I want to also combine all of my materials into 1 single material as well. When baking, all of my textured are coming out as all black apart for the normal map. Don't understand why.
Hi does the UVs will be auto adjusted so that they dont overlap bcz we get the problem of baking one texture on top of other if they overlap. Or should we have to adjust the UVs manually before itself.
Can you project bake it down to other objects? Example: if i have a lot of procedural materials with masks to my mid/highpoly, can i bake all the textures to a lowpoly with completely different UVs? Thanks for the video i just got the plugin.
@cgvirus i have a question: why do all my textures come out black and blank? i have multiple objects that make up the mesh. The objects are already unwrapped and textured. Each object has its own material and Texture (.dds) and i need to combine the model into one object and one texture for a game engine. The whole model is triangled, no quads. Every single baking plugin i have tried results in a black blank texture. can you help me? What do you think is causing it? Also would you mind adding some kind of progress indicator so we know if blender has finished the baking process or just locked up or crashed. This is kind of important for bigger models such as mine. im looking at the texture folder as the plugin makes the textures it takes about 20 minutes before the plugin makes the next one. i have 32 gigs of ram memory and a 4 core intel cpu i5-4690k
if you press shift A, then texture, there's a multiple images button p the top. use that. you will need to connect the nodes yourself but it's quicker than importing each image one at a time
is it possible to bake multiples separated objects in one texture? i know if you join them it works but when they are separated it doesn't work and only bake the active object textures
@@cgvirus i think i know what was the problem but dont know how to fix it , in your file when baking , it bakes with transparent background , in mine the backgroud is black , its very weird
This addon is insane. I was struggling for hours to combine my gazillion textures in one image. This did it in few clicks. Hats off!

Hi this probably getting corrupted for dds texture format. Cycle can read dds but can not bake from it.
is there an addon that uses the alpha channel of objects when baking?
does this work with blender 4.x

@@styloo_ Should be solved. Your blender file is somehow corrupted. Copy paste the object in a new blender project then bake it.

What do I do with the maps once they are generated?
You can use them in an external software like marmoset or unity for instance
