- In this video I go over how to reassemble a Yamaha 701 engine, This knowledge can be used in other 2-stroke engine assemblies as well.
I am by no means an expert just like riding and fixing my own things when they brake.

Great job man keen to see it running
Awesome vid man! Keep them coming.
Thanks! Will do!
The bearings sounded dry/ clapped when you spun them?! Maybe it was just the mic. Love the colour dude!
I cleaned them with brake cleaner/carb cleaner, then spun them with an air compressor. So yeah they were definitely dry at the time.
All bearings sound like that dry
@@joel387ktm lol. yes they do! You don't want them dry though... Clean, yes.
Like the color
Thanks man appreciate it
That look good man
Thank you👍🏻
Motor looks great. Did you have a shop do the powder, or did you do it?
Had a local shop do it for me
Do you hone your cylinders before you install the jugs?
Yes
@@toomanytoystv I appreciate the response! Currently getting ready to put my 61x back together, definitely going to hone my cylinders as well
No problem
What paint amd color code is that!? That would match my blaster graphics great
Sorry for never responding to your comment but I guess better late than never. Anyways the motors actually powder coated and the color I believe was called “sassy” (Item: PSS-3063) from prismatic powders. Hopefully that helps you!
