New Skis added to the fleet!!! (2018 SJ & Kawi 1100 swapped B1)
มุมมอง 863หลายเดือนก่อน
What’s up guys, haven’t posed in a while but figured you deserved an update on what’s happening. We’ve recently picked up two news skis, a bone stock 2018 superjet along with a Kawasaki 1100 swapped wave blaster 1. Both of these skis came from Florida which is a first for us shipping skis but super cool to see it all work out. The SJ is definitely going to be a build in the near future. Where a...
Yamaha Wave Blaster 1 build (888) (Part 3) FINISHED!!!

In this video I go over the finishing touches on this B1 build (for now). We ended up ripping the 61x out and dropping in a 62t engine. This basically put me back to square one on the build for the 3rd time but oh well lol. The ski is done now and should be a pretty good ripper for the summer. Yamaha Wave Blaster 1 Build Update (Wax Racing Head Pipe Rubbing Issue) solved?
มุมมอง 5133 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this video I discuss some of the ways I’ve tried to resolve the rubbing issue with the Wax Racing Head pipe in my waveblaster 1. I’ve talked to the guys from Wax and we’ve ping ponged ideas off each other to see how to resolve the problem and this is what we’ve come up with. If this doesn’t work then the pipe will be removed and replaced with a factory pipe set up. It would suck to change it...

Update on the 94 waveblaster 1 build (wax racing pipe problems)

In this video I got the motor off the bench finally and in the hull. While fitting the head pipe on the manifold I realized it was hitting the hull (typical in waveblasters). Instead of connectors why couldn't you just cut splice and heat shrink. Seems would be just as waterproof.
Keeping it factory and now I can still remove the ebox perfectly fine
Hello, I wanted to ask you since I have a waveblaster 1 and a friend gave me a water pump complete with driveshaft but it is from a 2018 superjet. My question is if I can install it by removing one and putting in the other or do I have to change something, because I haven't disassembled it yet and I don't know how long the driveshasf or the pitch of the impeller is. I would appreciate the information. Regards and thank you
Driveshaft are different and would need to be swapped. Prop pitches are definitely different also but would really NEED to be swapped out
@@toomanytoystv Thank you for the prompt response, I am from Argentina and this is my 3, WB1. I am putting it together for my children and nephews.
@@gustavobizzozero2502 awesome man
I love the sxr 800 the handling is just perfect
The handpole what hardware did you have to use to fit the bracket?! They told me I would have to get a whole new bracket before
I used the stock SXR pole bracket. The RRP Pole bolts right up to it with the corresponding bushings
The cases are not separate per cylinder? I wouldn’t see the need to fill the intake balance port
Love the video and the turf looks awesome. Where did you get the boarding handles? Mine are all faded.
They came on a ski I bought but the brand is NS Precision Inc. not sure if they are making them still but they pop up for sale hear and there from other companies too
What pipe is it?
Wax racing manifold and head pipe with a factory pipe mod II camber So basically a full factory b pipe mod II set up
I have a legit fp set up with that chamber. So fp in fact made two different manifolds, the blaster one being a thinner face than the standard one. My suggestion is to machine the face down or find a fp blaster manifold.
makes sense, what’s the worst that can happen if you run the pulse off one until I get the time to do the 2nd? Just not getting the correct tune for the second cylinder or can you cause damage of any sort?
To be honest not quite sure. But my guess is that you wouldn’t be pulling enough fuel to feed both carbs
I just bought new mikuni 44’s for my 760 sj and realized when they got here both have pump/pulse and the ones on there only have one pump/pulse and the other one has a pass through return. Was just going to swap it with the old one and started wondering if you could just run both pumps and what the benefits or cons are. Being you have two pumps on this setup could you let me know?
So this is my opinion and what I think. Stock 38s came with one pump so it’s fine to run them like that. 44s came with 2 pumps by design so I would personally think that to get them to perform as designed they would need a second pump and pulse line. My carbs had 2 pumps so I drilled a second pulse in because you really shouldn’t run 2 pumps off of one pulse line. My opinion but hopefully that helps
back when rebuild my 701 my mechanic and some friends didn't vote for VForce 3, their choice is #2, So did u try VForce 2?
To be honest I got them brand new for free so just using what I’ve got for now. I’ve heard the same but I normally always run a full boyseen set up on all my skis anyways. This is temporary😁
@@toomanytoystv all the best
@@toomanytoystv btw how is the boyesen reeds?
You should keep that sj original. They aren’t making more of them. Every time I see one for sale it has footholds 😂

@@toomanytoystv I would. But I also wear a size 14.
@@ToddleyProductions now that’s a problem lol! Put some adjustable rrp ones then
How did you get the seat to fit so good? On my blaster the sides poke out. Not sure if I need a new seat mold or if I can somehow modify the current one. It’s the top front corners I’m talking about
Mine just fit good but I religiously make sure those front corners are on the hooks! There’s a way of ratchet strapping the seat and slowly heating it to get its shape back. I’ve talked about doing it to a couple of mine, if I do it I’ll post a quick video
Awesome thank you
Wow, it ran like that? So it looks like it's been bored at least once before without your knowledge.

I watched his video, got nothing bad to say about wax other than fitment testing lol. As long as I can run a Bpipe or something equivalent I’m happy. If them making these pipes in is my option then I’m good with it! Nice Blaster. I'm currently building one too, not as polished as yours, just a fun thrasher with a solid motor, ported, Factory Pipe, dual 38s, etc. I didn't know Wax has what appears to be an exact rip of Factory Pipe. I guess I'm not sure how I feel about that either... kind of lame, but then again, we don't have a lot of options these days either... Cool to see other people are still in the blasters like me!
Hell yeah man, got blaster out the A$$ here 😂. Worst part is I’m not a blaster guy, mostly a stand up lol
Me too! I have a full mod square nose with MRD fuel injection that was last raced by me at the IJSBA World Finals in Expert Ski Modified in 1995! I also ride a 1995 550SX that rips for being a 550! Cheers!
@@AtimatikArmy sick man! Love the squares, get a lot of hate but my square nose is my favorite!
@toomanytoystv All I can say is that they absolutely dominated over the Kawi 750sx back in the day and IMO are probably one of the best handling hulls ever to be made, especially when it comes to choppy water... I love mine, that is for sure.
Only thing that sux, my square has the dreaded waterlogged foam under the tray and someday I'm going to have to dig into it... hate doing fiber glass work!
I agree, it is getting very hard to build a good blaster. You should see the cuts in my foot well and side to make a wetjet pipe to fit in mine! Lots of fiberglass work for 10+ hp.
Yeah sucks, but trying to keep the OG paint is even harder 😂
That came out great! im dreading doing mine.

My pwc ride plate on my sxr was so good I bought another one for a 650sx im building. Way better than the vintage parts Imo

@@jeffbryner5355 yes pro watercraft. I love it. On my sxr 800 I paird it with a Tbm intake grate and I’ve had multiple people tell me it’s the best handling sxr they have ever ridden. And it’s way better than stock
@ToddleyProductions heck yeah!! I have a worxs 201 but I may have to give that a try. The worx does decent in ruff waters but I porpoise like crazy. Even on calm waters. Ride plate is shimmed too. Awesome thanks for the info my friend! 🤟
