Pro tip if you want to find a good CRT, find any electronic recycle depots near you, they usually have a ton, I just go ask and either offer to pay a bit or they just give me whatever. Of course probably not the best time now due to covid and such but yea normally this is where I get mine as I'm not paying hundreds for a freaking CRT off local listings.

I remember that launchBox. That was my first retropalooza. I was straight up in love with that demo. Big enough to for 2 and small enough to be put anywhere. Been to every retropalooza since. You never know what you will find there

I've been gaming since 1977 at age 9-present...I own all of my consoles from childhood with over 1000 games from Nintendo to Neo-Geo AES-present all in there boxes in mint to great condition. My question to you is are any of these consoles and games are from you childhood?

That’s a decorative boomerang. A real “return” boomerang will have closer to a 90 degree angle. Yours will never come back no matter how you throw it. It’s basically a painted stick.

So this is a random memory, but I swear if you open up that Nintendo power with Tetris on the cover and hunt through the fan mail section there is a typo where instead of “control deck” they wrote “control dick”. It’s funny the things you remember from your childhood...
Poor Dreamcast…..it’s wedged in between the Saturn and 64. It can’t vent properly and therefore is why it’s acting up.
Throw boomerang. The point face forward like a hook facing forward. Throw straight and upward. I can throw it but can't catch it. It will fly forward and backward like a seesaw.
I think you might need to build the ultimate game shelve to all your games. They seem to space away from each other. I'm a collector myself. A while back I bought "zen the intergalactic ninja and cool world for the nes " for $20 in a bundle.

As far as I know (i.e. learned from Norman C.'s videos) that kind of acrylic mini shelf is actually for nail polish bottles.
Yeah, that Star Trek on videocassette display is super dope, and like Jay, I'm not a fan of Star Trek, but basically just because I've never watched it.
Those magazine racks are awesome. I wish I had room for some in my room for my magazine collection, but I'm limited on space, so I'm just sticking with boxes and a shelf to maximize the space I do have.

Funny thing with trinitron my wifes aunt gave me one and then next day saw 3 on my local Facebook for free and I live in a low population area. I had been looking around for one for a while
Also kudos on the Laserdisc stuff! I got my player last summer and it's very frustrating trying to find good horror movies on Laserdisc for cheap

That gameboy rack is used for Tattooing ink, I have one in every station at the shop, the tattoo supply van carries those for about $17
As for the Trinitron we have a ton in my area of pa for free. Everyone out here will pay you to take them out of their house because it costs them to dispose of them.

You guys have taken over my life with toy chasers and game chasers, my kids will whisper dad is still watching game chasers since I've been watching nonstop for a few days on episode 46 of game chasers and watched all toy chasers since I'm a figure collector mainly gi joe, marvel toy biz and batman mcfarlene! I have one question about the Trinitron though, as i have been getting back into retrogaming as well i was wondering if there was a reason why most retro gamers are using the Trinitron (or any CRT for that reason) and not a converter to HDMI or something. Unless there isn't any alternative of course.
