When I send a watch I track it, you can require a signature to prove that they have received it. The money is held in escrow and only released when the buyer is satisfied. If they are not happy with the watch then they need to send it back before the money is returned. I have bought watches from Japan, Europe and Australia with no issues.

I would buy from a reputable company or dealer. Way too many scammers out there now. Too many ways to end up with a frankin watch put together with substandard parts.

@@carrerfontiboet yes selling and buying on Chrono24 has always been successful for me. I just sold a Tudor black bay 41 black bezel to a person in Florida, the deal was very good. He liked the watch and released the money to me from the escrow account.

Customs is on to the 'it's a gift' crap used to get around taxes. Avoid at all costs unless you want to go a couple of rounds with Uncle Sam.
Do u have to pay sales tax on watch purchases through Chrono24?
sales tax is the buyers responsibility in the state that they live. Chrono24 does not take the sales tax out for you.
