  • It affects at least 13 million women in the UK, but little is known about the transition into menopause - called the perimenopause. The symptoms can be confusing, and there is still a lack of support and understanding for women experiencing the often debilitating side-effects. As This Morning continues it’s year dedicated to shining a light on the menopause, our expert Dr Louise returns to the studio with everything you need to know about the perimenopause.

    So why do doctors insist on blood tests? I know my body but my doctor says I am not because of my blood test result being normal.
