I just wish after consistently going to physical exams that my doctor had offered more information ahead of menopause in my 40s to let me know how to prepare for the menopause stage of my life but nothing!

I am perplexed at why you never mentioned Dr Barbara Taylor (aka Menopause Barbie). She is who I would consider one of the leading experts on menopause. Suggest you do a segment with her.
The family doc is wrong about timing. The AVERAGE age is 51 and the earliest age is 40. Perimenopause can last 5-10 years so women can be perimenopausal in their 30’s and many of us go through postpartum and it becomes perimenopause. We need better care for younger women with symptoms because they get dismissed. Ob gyn here
I had a hysterectomy in 1977 (age 30 ) due to dysmenorrhea. Premarin for decades as my menopause was horrendous. I came off it in 2021. I am extremely healthy. My 'hot flashes' have now become heatwaves that last from a couple of hours to 3 and 4 days. I am miserable as I live in the great outdoors of Arizona. I am 77 now but really don't want to see 78. Help please?

If you ask your doctor for help with hot flashes, they offer you anti Depression pills.
