Really great subject matter, thanks Trinny, slightly off topic, but thanks for mentioning women without children early on. Every female subject is related by way of the mother role. I know that you struggled to have a child and understand how that fear of remaining childless can affect you,. The Childless not by choice community has grown massively in the last decade..As someone who is active within the community and being cnbc myself... I would love to see you involve and talk about our demographic a bit...we are around 25 % of women over 40. We want to be visible and relevant.

I started weight training two years ago. I weight train for an hour 4 days per week, sometimes 5 days per week. I have 2 kgs to 8 kgs and train with a qualified trainer on zoom, one to one sessions. It has revolutionised my body - I’m confident in a bikini for the first time in my life and I’m 47. I feel lithe, toned, supple, and strong. And I can sit cross legged on the floor and bounce up to standing without using my hands at all! I can’t recommend weight training and getting fit enough ❤❤❤❤

This was fantastic! My doctor wanted me to either go into HRT or antidepressants, neither of which I wanted to go on at 42 (nothing showing on blood work) so I've been researching on my own looking at hormones. Although I feel better I'm not 100% so thank you I'll look into this further xx

I’m living a nightmare 🙈 I can’t sleep properly, constantly constipated and feeling disconnected 😢. I’ve had a hysterectomy 6 years ago and was prescribed estrogen. It didn’t work. I put a lot of weight, had high levels of inflammation to the point of stopping exercising. It’s very hard to find a doctor that truly listens and sees you. This life cycle shouldn’t be debilitating for women ❤

If you reached already menopause age, you don't need to take HRT anymore. Change your diet, check your thyroid, walk 30 minutes every day. Let your body heal slowly.

What specific doc do I need to see at 75? Endocrinologist? My primary doc took me off Premarin after 30 years wreaking havoc on my skin and osteoporosis 😫USA marooned.

Sadly at the age menopause hits us...life can be tough.so not always can you feel happy and stress free..esp if you experience losing your elderly parents..and face a divorce if you married young..so that then can bring financial issues. Its a vicious circle

The last time you met with Dr Schwartz you were taking CJC- Ipamorelin, injections, these peptides are now banned by the FDA so I assume she can no longer prescribe them? I also can no longer get these peptides due to the ban and wonder what her thoughts are on this ban and how it is affecting treating patients such as yourself...

I've been put on a trial of HRT for 3 months by my GP. I'm a couple of wks from the end and don't feel like it's made an awful lot of difference, except my hair seems to be falling out less. Still waking up in the night, still have brain fog, still feel emotional, still get cramps. Should I try another 3 months or should I be asking for blood work to be done. Also if I get refused blood work on the NHS, who do I go to? Fyi I'm on the S coast not too far from Brighton. Thanks for this video, Emma x

From my experience, you need a higher dosage of estrogen as your sympoms persist. Also, do you take progesterone? This should help you sleep better. It took me 6 months to find the right dose and it's actually quite high. Please persist with it and don't give up.

    • @keepfitgirl8191

@@mamto890 thanks that's helpful. Yes I'm on progesterone and two spray pumps of an oestrogen spray. The progesterone did help with sleep for a while but in the last wk I've been sleeping badly again. Not sure why the change!

@@keepfitgirl8191Is the progesterone in tablet form? I asked for the spray and was told I'd need a coil progesterone also, but didn't fancy that. Patches, don't seem to agree with me.

Not to sure I agree you need to exercise to keep young.or fit. Esp as i have muscle freak friends aged 60 plus but are in pure agony with there joints during to postmenopausal pains ..its unsure how much one shld be doing. Personally I preferred to walk and dance salsa...that's a happy morphine night and day with these exercises.
