Thanks for this info. I took my time studying and reviewing the materials and passed with 100% first try. Test itself took 20 minutes. You can take it regardless of when your cert expires. 🤙🏼
@@ginger_dog Actually , I was incorrect. I mixed up, faa.gov with the faasafety.gov. I have found the exact same page where it said Part 107 Small UAS Recurrent, just like your tutorial. Thank you for highlighting that part out for us!!
That I do not know. I print out the ticket and keep it with my license with my drone. I've never had to produce either to prove I'm legal, so I haven't needed an updated card at all.
I've had a couple of viewers who took the recurrent test with an expired license and it worked for them, so you might try that first. I thought you would have to go back to square one, but you may not.
So my part 107 expired in Nov23 without realizing,. can i just do the Part 107 UAS Recurrent or have i completely messed up and need to do it all over again. ugh how annoyed with myself am i ?
Unfortunately, you have to start all over again and retake the original test. This process only works with a currently active Part 107. I did that my first time around too. Sorry Dude.
@@DorfyBoi I just realized mine ran up in April as well... So do you have to take the test again at a testing facility or can you do it online? The process is very convoluted. If it can be done online, do you know where to find that on the site? The FAA site seems to have been changed since this video was made. Thanks!

Sweet! Congratulations. Thanks for sharing your experience. Certainly helps us all.
Thank you for this video, it put my worries at ease!
So glad. Thank you for that feedback.
This makes me feel much better for my upcoming renewal especially on the no flight charts or NOTAMS. I have 100% already forgotten those.
You mean you don't consult a flight chart and NOTAMS before your drone flights? Ha ha. Glad this was helpful.
Thank you, I was about to pay to take the exam again. Saved me $175.
Awesome! Glad I could help.
thank u for the video!!! i have to search you tube for every renewal cycle:) lol
You're welcome.
Thank you for making the video short and concise, we really appreciate it
My pleasure. Thanks for saying so.
Bruh you are hilarious 😆 Thank you for all this info. Super helpful!
Ha ha. Thanks so much. Glad this was helpful.
I just laughed so hard when you said "unless they redesign the website" 🤣 because they Did.!!
AAARRGGHH!!!! Well, thanks for the heads up LummeBua.

(In the spirit of this post…) it was “stupid helpful”. Good to know. Keep barking up solid videos.
Thanks so much.
Thank you!
Once you renew your license you only get a certificate, are you able to get a revised license to reflect that?

If I’m fighting a misdemeanor marijuana case, but I haven’t been convicted does that disclose me from taking my part 107
You know, I honestly don't know. You might talk to a lawyer about that or reach out to the FAA. I hope your case goes well.
@@ginger_dog thanks
If my Part 107 already expired, do I need to go back to Square 1 or just take the Recurrent?

@@ginger_dog You're wrong. I just took the test after my license expired in April and was just issued the certificate.
@@DorfyBoi !!!!!! Wow! Good to know. Thanks for the report.
@@DorfyBoi nice one, i'll renew when i'm back from Europe.
