      Shorts are good for summer...but not for electronics....now for the electrician service provider on call? Shorts are their bread and butter! Haha! Dad jokes provided for free! No plans. They just come with having a child.😅🤣😂
      Have you ever thought of making an upside dawn jig saw (make shift band saw) and is that worth the effort to make vs an actual band saw?
      I have limited funds and right now I do have half the setup...I just don't have a longer blade to connect a set of roller bearings on the outer side of the blade to keep it centered.... was curious about the Festool blades... I may do some internet surfing and see how much a blade itself would be and if I even need to put bearings and and arm structure to hold the blade in place....
      I got lots of ideas in the brain...but money is an opposite correlation to that.
      Thanks for sharing these ideas!

    It's 2023 and I am reviewing this vid. He stated that redwood Adirondack chairs at Home Depot for over $900. I didn't believe him thinking he's just trying to justify his prices or he's in a high price area. So, I went to the HD web site and looked it up. After catching my breath, I discovered the man is absolutely correct. Other woods sell for less but the redwood is definitely commanding a high price. It used yo be about the cheapest wood you could get. I have no idea what the price is for redwood today. Prices are coming down on other woods.

    Quick question for you! I know you mentioned that you can easily use dimensional lumber from the big box store, and you've also mentioned you "can" use wood that's 1.25"-1.5" thick for the project... What do you normally do? Do you purchase 6/4 Red Oak and mill it down? How thick do you typically mill it down to?

    James, great video! The projects are really great for woodworkers of all skill levels. Just a tip for new workers or those with not a lot of tools..if they have a block plane or chisel-these can be used to cut roundovers and chamfers. I could probably do that for some. But for some of the screws, that position lay change slightly. Sometimes people will make an error and put the middle back cradle a half in high or low for example during the build. The project would still work perfectly. But when I came time to put in screws, none of the holes would work.

    Hi James. Really good work and easy to understand assembly. Most of the builders talk about selling the things made in their videos to make x number of dollars, but no one provides where or how to sell their projects. I can see that bazars or swap meets might be places. However, I've sold wooden projects when I was younger in these locations and everyone there are looking for bargains and will not pay what those items truly command. Would be nice if you would do a video on this aspect of your business. I'm thinking all sales must be local as the shipping could kill your profits. Anyway, if you need a video Idea, how about this? Thanks again for your videos.

    good evening James, I am going to join your patreon, but I am on a monthly income, I'm a retired veteran. I want to get your outdoor furniture and adirondack package, but I am going to have to wait to end of month for my VA check to come in, I'm 100% disabled, so I have to watch my income. I think I can make a few dollars on the side making your furniture package, I'm anxious to get started, but!.

    Hi James! I’ve enjoyed watching your channel for the past several years, just wish you made far more items and videos! I love the outdoor package, but will wait until after you add the benches for the table. I know, it wouldn’t be that difficult to build benches to match your table, but I’m disabled and it’s painful to stand and sit, so any time I can shave off a project is extremely helpful. Besides, being the wonderful giving gentleman I know you are, I figured you’d toss in the bench plans with your outdoor package at no extra charge.
    Unfortunately, I live in Southern California and there are no lumber yards within a 3 hour drive from me, so I’d be making these out of pine, unless someone is willing to pay for upgraded wood. The problem here is that good wood is more expensive than most places in the states and, people don’t want to pay what I’d need to charge in order to make a reasonable profit. At the very highest, I’d only be able to charge maybe $250/chair and still not sure if anyone would buy them, especially if they’re made from pine, but I’ll find out as soon as I buy your package. Hopefully I’ll be surprised! Thanks for making the package available at a discount and for this updated video!

      @@TheTheNYone,
      Hi if you’re talking about the kids rocking chair, we will send that out free of charge to all the buyers of this package.
      And you could certainly wait, but the $40 discount won’t be available then. We added a discount now because we thought people would want to start now since it’s spring. But the discount make up for the fact that you have to wait a bit on the kids rocker.

    Are you finding dimensional cedar somewhere here in Denver? I know Lowes has the redwood, but i don't see cedar at either on the big box stores, all i see in cedar are the fence slats.

    Hi, great & informative video; thank you for that! Does your package come with the CNC files as well?

    • @KingsFineWoodworking
      @KingsFineWoodworking  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, it doesn’t. However if you have a CNC, I can swap the CNC files for the paper templates.
      You wouldn’t really need the paper templates, you can either just cut a set of your own with plywood, or better yet, just cut all the pieces themselves with the CNC.
      If you want that option, just go ahead and buy the package then send me an email and let me know you want the swap. My email address is james@kingsfinewoodworking.com

    I have a couple questions and sorry if I missed the answers in the video.
    1) What wood species did you use for each project, besides the Douglas Fur table.
    2) Did you use a sealer on the projects? Or what finish sealer would you recommend for outdoor furniture made out of pourous wood?
    3) Did you plane or joint the boards before assembly or was belt and orbital sanding enough to get the boards flattened?
    Love your videos! Thank you 😊

    • @KingsFineWoodworking
      @KingsFineWoodworking  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! We used redwood and cedar for the chairs. All the projects were finished with
      Penofin Transparent Redwood
      Here’s a link:
      amzn.to/40s6HgP
      No planer or jointer was used. Just a bare minimum of tools really. Belt sanding and random orbit sanding is all that’s needed to get the perfect finish.
      It is important when picking out your wood to select the straighter, flatter pieces.

    Hello, Mr. King! I could watch you and your family create all day! It’s so awesome!
    This video got me interested in your Outdoor Package for 99$. I was wondering if this included CNC files? I recently purchased a Onefinity Journeyman. So, this affords me the space to make your beautiful chairs.

    • @KingsFineWoodworking
      @KingsFineWoodworking  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! It doesn’t. However, what I’ve been doing for anyone interested is allowing you to exchange the templates for the CNC files.
      If you have a CNC machine, you certainly don’t need templates, and if you wanted them anyhow, you could easily cut a set on your CNC.
      If you’d like to do this, you can just buy the package and them email me and tell me you’d rather have the CNC files. I’ll hang on to the templates and send your CNC files right out.
      My direct email address is james@kingsfinewoodworking.com
