Hey everyone! Thanks for watching! If you're interested in learning more about the "My Basement Business" course from Jennie and Davis, you can get more info about it here: www.tinyurl.com/startingmbb. Both Jennie and Davis have been personal friends of mine for years now and I can attest to their success. They started with nothing but a dream and have now grown that into a couple profitable companies. Check them out for yourself!

These chairs are very cool. I hope to try them one of these days when I get all my others projects caught up. 🙄

By the way, I'm 55 years old and I have that Sesame street song looping through my head ever since I saw the video. It's been over 40 some years since that has happened; It's going to be a long day...ha, ha, ha. Thank you for the video and all your work.

Love it, and love it when you "Help" the neighbor, lol...in fact if I do this, my neighbor to my left has a pile of wood left over from a shed he hasn't built yet, and the neighbor to my right, has patio furniture with cushions, but since they don't ever sit on them, I'll go ahead and take the initiative to help them by removing them, clean them, and then test them out a few years before comparing notes with them to see why they don't sit on them...I'm all about learning and research, it's the least I can do and hey, what are neighbors for, right? Everyone needs good neighbors like us. 😁
Seriously though been following you for years, seeing the kids grow, feel like part of the family, you do very beautiful work, always a thumbs up, love the out takes, and I pray you and the family be safe and well! Greetings from my family to yours, from NC!

I know it’s been said, but I really love the outtakes that you put in each of your videos. Sometimes it can feel like I really suck at woodworking because I make mistakes all the time, but seeing you make mistakes too, many of them mistakes I have also made, it reminds me that none of us are perfect and we all make mistakes from time to time.
It can be intimidating watching other makers on TH-cam because their videos are edited to make it look perfect and easy, but you remind us that we all have room to grow.
Keep up the good work and thanks for the inspiration to keep going!

Turned out great. While I am truly sorry about the mistakes that required wasting the boards and cutting new ones, it does make me feel a little more human. My last project I took about 30 minutes writing out all my cuts in order so that I could make sure to move the fence as little as possible. I thought very highly of myself and promptly made my first cut 2 inches short.

Nice build Drew, but I want to suggest you turn the seat bottom over in your plans and next build. As it will be a strong use of the half-lap joints. 11:53 shows the seat runner's half-lap on the bottom side, kind of defeating the joints actual strength. Again nice design and sure you just got caught up in the build. Please keep making your videos with the same humor. Very refreshing.

Congrats on being the first viewer to catch this. Yes, I goofed but realized after the glue dried. As you can see from my original fusion model, I had every intent on doing it right. The plans call out my error and instruct it be done correctly.

Great project, Drew. A small tip for the countersink drilling. Doing the countersink first will give you a nice round hole, with the pilot drilled first the countersink will have a faceted hole. It only matters once in a while but does give a clean look when the countersink is in a visible location.

Great build and as always really entertaining. It also brought about one of the “light bulb” moments for me. In prep a lot of repetitive cuts to square up those edges. Then later on a trim router is used to soften the edges that we spend so much time to get. I get it but kinda grin when I think about it.

Great build, though I felt there was something missing... It was only on reading the comments that I realised it was the slot screw and unnecessary walnut! Still loving the outtakes Drew. 👍
