Making a turret that fits the carriage stop. Up to 4 lengths can be set to help speed up production of parts. Use 6mm threaded rod to make various stop lengths.
Interesting project. For those of you out there with a mini lathe, there is no room for something this big. What you can however make is a quick change lathe stop holder. Then you put on your stop for the first operation, then swap out to the next and so on. A quick move of a handle, swap and away you go. So now that I have said that, I am going to have to hit Fusion 360 and at least make up a model. Print out the plastic version and see how it works. Just what I needed, another project.
