Great video! Do you know if it's possible to get the menus for the MDR before the cruise? Since recommend booking the specialty restaurants before sailing, it'd be great to know the menus a couple of weeks in advance. (Love you guys!)
They are not officially posted by Carnival but many Facebook groups will have the recent menus. I am in several of these big Carnival groups and if you ask for menus there are usually a couple of people in the group who can share them with you!

YAY! I am glad you are enjoying the channel :) Unfortunately, the cruise lines (not just Carnival) have passed this rule that every adult over 21 in the same cabin has to buy the drink package. They did this because people were sharing. But it makes it hard for couples where one likes to indulge and the other does not. If me and Jason cruise without the kids we probably won't get the drink package because I can't get my money's worth out of it.

About the cheers package, I know it’s unlimited non-alcoholic drinks, but can you get more than one at a time? The reason I ask is I heard you say “2 energy drinks, coffees, bottled water” or something like that. Also, do they open them or is that just the alcoholic drinks they open? I’m just wondering if you can get them (non-alcoholic) and take back to your room or in port.
Yes, I always book early (at least 6 months before the cruise) and explain to my Carnival PVP at booking that I need two rooms next to each other or adjoining. Interior rooms do not connect so when we book interior we get them next to each other. This time we are in oceanview and they have an interior door which connects them. Hope this helps!

When are you sailing??? I have plans for videos that will cover all of your questions!!! As far as dinner, I would try to move that to early or anytime dining. You won't get entrees until 9pm and most kids are used to being in bed by that time. You know, I do not recall crab ever being an option on any cruise so you are probably out of luck on that one. But you can definitely get lobster.
EECC Travels I’m sail in August but now that I think of it I want to move it to July. I sail on herizon 4 day. I was scared to do longer trip. I look for option any times cause your right at 8 30 she sleep.

We cannot share, but I only drink a few drinks the entire cruise. Being in separate rooms Jason can buy it with all of the benefits and I just pay for the few drinks I want. Plus I bring wine onboard with me :)
This tip is genius, BTW! Too bad we don’t travel with children. Royal Caribbean has gone to the same policy - if one adult buys the drink package, both adults in the cabin must buy it .... HOWEVER, if you call RC and explain that one of you really doesn’t drink that much, they will let only one adult in the cabin purchase the drink package. New policy in 2018.
We can't get the cheers package. I drink and my husband doesn't and we have the two small children so we just kind of suck it up and pay out of pocket for drinks. ..for me!!! great video .. thank you so much.

Yes, the amazing drinks at Alchemy are included in Cheers! That is where Jason got most of his drinks on our last cruise!

That is great! Ethan leaves next month for the Marines. The cruise we just took on the Breeze was his senior trip and send off.
He's not as doing as much with the channel as when he first got started. I know his job keeps him super busy!

You can just carry it. We use bungee cords to strap them to the top of the luggage for easier handling.

About the cheers package, I know it’s unlimited non-alcoholic drinks, but can you get more than one at a time? The reason I ask is I heard you say “2 energy drinks, coffees, bottled water” or something like that.
Also, do they open them or is that just the alcoholic drinks they open? I’m just wondering if you can get them (non-alcoholic) and take back to your room or in port.

Yes, I always book early (at least 6 months before the cruise) and explain to my Carnival PVP at booking that I need two rooms next to each other or adjoining. Interior rooms do not connect so when we book interior we get them next to each other. This time we are in oceanview and they have an interior door which connects them. Hope this helps!

Omg thank you I going on herizon as well my first cruise I’m nervous. What about shore excursion. By the way my children want to try crab again does cruise serve crab I can’t find it in videos? I set dinner time 8 but I have kids not sure if they wait that long which time is best for kids? And what do you pack cause I’m over buying and my suit case over flowing. ????, pleas make more videos
When are you sailing??? I have plans for videos that will cover all of your questions!!! As far as dinner, I would try to move that to early or anytime dining. You won't get entrees until 9pm and most kids are used to being in bed by that time. You know, I do not recall crab ever being an option on any cruise so you are probably out of luck on that one. But you can definitely get lobster.
EECC Travels I’m sail in August but now that I think of it I want to move it to July. I sail on herizon 4 day. I was scared to do longer trip. I look for option any times cause your right at 8 30 she sleep.

We cannot share, but I only drink a few drinks the entire cruise. Being in separate rooms Jason can buy it with all of the benefits and I just pay for the few drinks I want. Plus I bring wine onboard with me :)
This tip is genius, BTW! Too bad we don’t travel with children.
Royal Caribbean has gone to the same policy - if one adult buys the drink package, both adults in the cabin must buy it .... HOWEVER, if you call RC and explain that one of you really doesn’t drink that much, they will let only one adult in the cabin purchase the drink package. New policy in 2018.
@Reginald Dove I believe it just depends on the cruise line. Some are completely fine with one bottle per person.
I'm trying to plan a cruise for 3 or 4 adults. (No kids) I'm still not sure which cruise line to choose, and lots of other details.
We can't get the cheers package. I drink and my husband doesn't and we have the two small children so we just kind of suck it up and pay out of pocket for drinks. ..for me!!! great video .. thank you so much.
Next year we will probably both be in one cabin if Ethan doesn't come with us so Jason won't be getting Cheers then. I will have to reign him in :)
