Dusty, your enthusiasm for bison breeding and ranching is contagious. I learn so much watching your channel as well as enjoying the content. Livin the (hard) life.
Same here, so interesting and enjoyable! Love learning new things and Dusty is such a great teacher, and Marisa, Brooks, and Kevin are interesting and fun to watch and learn from as well. What a great support group Dusty has!! I think the first video of his I watched was when he and Marissa had taken a little weekend trip and the bison, Big Joe in the lead, decided to break through a fence at Kevin and Dusty's Mom's place. Daniel, Houston, and DJ came over to help round them up. Fortunately, they were on a side road, not the main road, and they went back in quite easily. Poor Dusty must worry about what they might get into, or out of, while he's trying to rest and enjoy his family or shop potential new bison! It's always something! Enjoy watching him and his family and friends help develop their new property, fulfilling their dreams.
It’s always good to go to those types of things. Glad you had a good and safe trip. Little Brooks seemed like she enjoyed herself. Thanks for the update. Cora sure is pretty.
Great video Dusty. Thanks for sharing all aspects of bison ranching and protecting the American bison. For all you do and share, thank you. And Brooks’ fascination with it all, what a priceless time to be a kid. Stay safe, stay well.
I've been watching Brooks since she was a baby and knew she was growing up, but really didn't know how much until she came running towards you on the catwalk😊. She is darling.
Wow great turn out for the sale !! Seems like Brooks was having a good time ! I think Cora missed you some , she’s getting used to the camera time , she’s so pretty ! Thank You for sharing your trip with us Dusty, Marissa and Brooks . Enjoyed seeing the working of the Bison .
Great job Marissa and Dusty loading those 🦬🦬 at 5 AM. Awesome team work. Seeing Brooks running around at the auction and having fun was nice to see. Cora was so happy, to have, you, back. All the rain you, have gotten sure, made everything green and beautiful.
I think you're doing a great thing raising America's mammal. Bison are much better for the natural environment and human health. I would love to see them come back in the millions. Love your channel and all of the animal characters.
Please explain how bison are better for the environment. This video does not adequately show just how dangerous these animals are. Don't think for a minute they are domesticated. I understand the meat can be healthier but so can whitetail deer and they are just as farmable and certainly less dangerous as are elk.
@@giovanna722 I suggest watching the idiots in Yellostone Park who act like the ones there are just like domestic cows. Do not underestimate the stupidity of people.
Loved going with you to Missouri albeit via video. I loved seeing Cora being your buddy and not being nervous around you. Aaah, the friendship of a good horse.
New York State and many other states north suffered severe drought last year. All the creek beds, streams and ponds were bone dry the entire summer. Lakes and ponds and rivers too were the lowest in my entire 75 years. Our farms, of all kinds suffered deep losses. Wells went dry, lawns dried up, trees and vegetation died...so did the wildlife.
Thanks for taking us along to a bison sale first time seeing one. Your lil miss Brooks is so cute she has really grown up. Glad you made it safely there and home god bless and see you on the best one.
Hi Dusty. I live in Kingston Ontario Canada and in the province of Manitoba Canada, they found an 8000 year old Bison bone 🦴. That's awesome. I really appreciate your videos and I enjoy your family and 🦬. Thanks so much.
LILA SIMMONS w Well they say 8,000 yr old bison bones, but they were saying floods! once every 700 yrs and were getting them every second year for years
It is great to see your beautiful family raising these awesome bisons. Boots expression alone is worth seeing. She loves bisons, and she is so cute watching them at the bison sale! Thank you for sharing your whole family and friends with us. You teach us in many ways. Greetings from NC.
Hi Dusty and everyone ❤Brooks loves to be around the chubby bison keeping her beautiful eyes and cute smile on them. Thanks for sharing everyone have a safe weekend. 😊😊😊❤hugs and prayers😊😊
Looked like a good event. Always good to get away, even better to get back home. Cora is starting to really be comfortable with her new home and with y'all as well. She is a beautiful horse. Take care, stay safe and God Bless!!!
Glad you all had fun! Brooks is absolutely precious! She's already got some thick hair. Isn't it about time for a baby brother or sister for her? 😉😉😉Sending love from Memphis~
The muddy ground is beautiful. The green grass is beautiful to see. after last summer and fall’s brutal heat and drought. Y’all deserve the blessing of rain, rain rain. I love the sound of your dog’s bark in the quiet night. it reminds me of visits to my husband’s parents small ranch in Eastern WA. They raised white faced herefords, At night I could hear the quiet sounds of the cattle, their breathing & snuffling and chewing the grass s they grazed along the fence near our open window. Thank you for sharing your life, in OK, your family, all your critters and your Bison. For a while i felt like i was there with you in the quiet darkness. of a country night., ❤
Beautiful description!! Eloquent!! Your words built a beautiful, peaceful vision in my mind. Yes, it's relaxing to listen to happy, relaxed cattle chewing on grass, so peaceful. Thank you for sharing your memory, I felt like I went on a mini vacation! You should try committing your memories to paper, maybe write a book! I'd buy it! Thank you do much for sharing. God bless n Happy St. Patrick's Day tomorrow. Don't forget to wear something green!

That is why people/stupid people get into so much trouble in Yellowstone. They think the wild/unhandled bison are tame and they end up hurting people when they walk up & want to pet a wild bison. Especially dangerous when calving season is going on. Even livestock which are accustumed to people working around them are not to be messed with.
My sister lives in Springfield, Mo. I asked her and she'd never heard of a Bison sale there. Maybe they need to promote a little better. Of course, she wouldn't be inerested in buying a bison at 82 years old but she might love to check it out and see those magnificent creatures!
Thanks for taking us along with you to the sale. Springfield’s Market is a big one and looks very well organized. I love your videos and watching you work the bison.
I finally tried a Bison burger a few weeks ago. Oh my word….the best burger I’ve ever had. So lean and yummy goodness. It’s great to see the bond you’re forming with Cora!!
Thanks for sharing, Dusty !! Never been to a 🦬 Bison auction before !! Worked for a Cattle Auctioneer in Rhodesia back in the 60's with over 1,200 head auctioned at each sale !! Lots of cattle and lots of money changed hands !!
Hi Dusty and Family. Great video and memories being made. Brooke is having fun watching and learning. Glad yall had a great and safe trip. Thanks for taking us along. Hopefully yall will continue with the bison. God bless and love yall ❤❤💖💖
Have to ask, was anyone in your family an actual cobbler, a shoe and leather repair person? Don't even know if you have studied your family history back generations, but that tends to be where our last names come from. My husband's father was a merchant mariner,, when he married my husband's Mom he chose to adopt her three boys, my husband, and his twin brothers. Then they had a fourth to complete the set. Since several last names were involved they all talked it over and they all chose the last name Mariner. So he changed his and her last name, then adopted the three boys. Somewhere I have a copy of his adoption papers. He's since passed, as has his grandparents, parents, his uncle and wife and their eldest daughter. He was the Dad my son always wanted, in fact my son knew him first. He picked a good one! Interesting how things fall in place, no coincidences. God bless.
Cora getting used to you wanting to snuggle. Great experience for Brooke. She’s going to be your sidekick in a few years handling the bison. ❤ look out
Did you bump into Noah at the sale? Looks like Brookes had a blast looking all around on the catwalk. Congrats on the rain, hope you get some every couple of weeks this year.
Yes!yah Springfield! Closer for you to home. Great area to go to for a sale. Closer is always better for hauling. Hope more of the big best sales are held there or maybe even at the tribal bison ranch in NE OK. wish I could have gone to watch but my wknd was taken this time.
I’ve attended Church in that building you were in. I told my sister you were bringing some of your stock. I must’ve misunderstood you. Thank you for the video.
Where im from its out in the country its a 45 mile drive to the "city" where Walmart meijer, restaurants and all the shopping is. Right as u get into the city, the edge of city really (and when i say city i mean large town lol) theres a bison farm. Been there for generations. Going past that farm was always so exciting to me as a little girl and growing up. Loved passing by them and seeing them all 9n this big hill. It signified that we've made it to the city and just as u pass over the hill, you could see all the city lights. So many great memories for me with bison. I went to school with some of the kids of the family (the olesons) who are actually now in charge of the farm (they own local grocery stores too) thats definitely part of why i love your channel so much. It reminds me of my childhood and my birthplace (Traverse City, Michigan)
Everyone is well organized and they aren’t stressing the animals, makes me happy 😃

The use of gates to guide the beasts to where you want them to go is intriguing & educational for me. Ingenious idea!
