Couple of tips from a Olympic Park local and Urbnsurf regular- Don’t pay for parking, if you go longer than two hours simply drive out just before the two hours is up and then drive back in and grab yourself a new ticket. It’s not ideal but beats paying for parking. Also agree that Sandy’s food is average but heaps of awesome Asian eateries nearby at Wentworth Point and Rhodes. Hope to see ya next time you come down.
Hey Nozzer. At the pool in Bristol England they do the advanced turns too but call it expert turns. I don’t rate it either, way too much water moving around for the pool. I think you’ll love the smaller turn settings mate. Much more like the ocean👍
Looked liked a wicked day at urbnsurf. I haven't been to Sydney only Melbourne. I found it odd for a bit to do turns then kinda got the hang of it. It's hard to see where the lip of the wave is on some sections.
Thanks legend!! Stoked for you. The takeoff on export is very mellow. Advanced/advanced turns is the really steep one. Just take off as far from the wall as I was. About 1-1.5M away as its way more mellow and an easy paddle in. If you’re too close it’s way more steep 🤙🏽 and don’t hesitate to ask fellow surfers in the water. Everyone’s usually super chill and on the same page!
