I realy like the gloss black. Alot! And the diff cover is fire bro. So nice and clean looking under there. Bettn you will have zero deflection. Then the decal! Awsome.!
@@SpeedCultureStudios i just got the kit from z1, been trying to figure out if i wanted to get them installed by a shop or do it myself, i got quoted 1200 so im definitely doing them myself lmaooo; mine need to be changed so bad, and this video gave me the motivation to do it myself. thank you man.
Hey is this what they say you need to drop the sub-frame for? Or are those other bushings? I’m looking to replace mine but I’m unsure whether to do it myself or get it done at a shop to avoid high labor costs
No need to drop the subframe for this. That would be for the subframe bushing collars. I have a video on that too. And you don’t have to “drop” it. You just have to lower it slightly.
For the big, rear bushing, do you remember if you got it completely in and flush with the subframe, or did you have that protrusion of the bushing sticking out that meets with the diff? Hopefully that makes sense
It is pretty flush on the rear-facing toward the back of the car. There is a slight protrusion on the forward side of the subframe that meets the diff itself.
On the top front diff bushings did you used any of the old hardware? I know the bushings come with metal for the bottom but I’m not sure if I have to use the old ones on top
My mechanic installed my rear z1 poly diff bushing but it pokes out towards the rear of car by about 3-4mm, not flat to the surface of the frame. Is this going to be an issue? Thx
Yeah you pushed the car in the beginning of the video. You said it might be the sway bar end links or upper control arm. I was wondering which one it was
No kidding on that bushing! What a pain. I had to use an air hammer with a sharp chisel to cut the outside ring out. I was covered in black oil😂
I was struggling using the removal tool wrong😂😂

Thanks! Love how it turned out
I like the new hardware for your stub axle to axle. Smooth install!
I did the 370z axle conversion awhile back so got all fresh hardware.
@@SpeedCultureStudios I love new hardware
@@SpeedCultureStudiosI've never heard of this, I'll have to take a look!
@@willhawkins284 me too!
@@BB-pf2cs good upgrade for durability, but also 370z hubs are easier to change out so keeps maintenance easier and cheaper in the long run!
thank you for this, need to get a jack and some stands and im gonna do this soon
Makes a big difference

Thank you, that's just about how I got it.
Great work bro.....!!
Thanks for checking it out!
Is the z1 subframe tool worth it ? Cause I’m about to change my diff to an lsd and scared to do that one bushing
Absolutely worth it!
On the top front diff bushings did you used any of the old hardware? I know the bushings come with metal for the bottom but I’m not sure if I have to use the old ones on top
Tops are discarded
@@SpeedCultureStudios thank you 🙏🏽
How’s your luck been with that Daytona jack?
I’m seriously considering getting the low profile version.
For the price, it’s hard to beat! Really low profile so it’s nice. Lifts smooth and holds strong.
Where you get that intake heat shield?
I made it
Dope tool

Did you find out what the ticking noise was?
The ticking noise?
Yeah you pushed the car in the beginning of the video. You said it might be the sway bar end links or upper control arm. I was wondering which one it was
@@samuelgrosvenor6611 yeah 95% sure it’s the ball joints in the control arms now that sway bar bushings were changed
@@SpeedCultureStudios I’m sorry to bother you. But the single ball joint that needs to be pressed in. Or a bushing in the control arm
@@samuelgrosvenor6611 I have adjustable control arms. The ball joints are in rough shape. The whole arms are being upgraded soon
