    Keith, I rented an apartment with this unit almost 9 months ago and it has been the bane of my existence. Some loads took up to 5+ hours to wash and dry. After watching this video, i now know how to use it efficiently. What a great video this is. THANK YOU so much!!!!

    I have this exact same unit in my apartment. The very 1st thing I had the landlord do is blow out the dryer and exhaust line and vent line(to the outside) with a leaf blower. The washer works fine. If you keep the lint trap cleaned out the dryer works great. I can clean everything I need...except for the comforter/pillows. Take those to a laundry mat. I use the 24 min basic cycle all the time. No problems. The washer is, abit noisy/clunky.

      I moved into an apartment a month ago that was refurbished and had a new one of these units. I've used it a few times already and noticed that regardless of what wash mode it's in it agitates slowly, as if it was a delicate cycle, but then only speeds up for the last 30 seconds to 1 minute of the agitation cycle. What's more odd, however, is that after the agitation cycle it stops for a brief minute then starts back up and drains the water without spinning....it then goes into spin mode but does NOT spray out any water to actually "rinse" the clothes (I even took video to this effect). Have you noticed any of this? I've been in touch with my landlord about it and have spoken to Whirlpool customer service, but so far there's been no conclusion as to whether any of that activity is normal operation or not.

    The electric outlet he is showing is a 20 amp. 20 amp must be used only on 12 gauge wire or larger. Do not just have the your outlet replaced. Make sure the wire in your house is 12 or larger. If a 20 amp fuse or breaker is used on smaller wire, such as 14 gauge, you could burn your house down.

      @kinetocore ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly. The statement in the video is misleading. “Any electrician can swap a 110 out for this dedicated plug”. No they can’t, not without running 12 gauge wire and replacing the 15A breaker with a 20, which would be a renovation, not a “swap out.” Unless you’re lucky and your laundry room was wired with 20 amp T shaped outlets, you’re going to need to run conduit or cut holes in the wall.

    Just had a memory flashback w/ this machine . House/pet sitting for dear sister , doing my laundry . There was a big wod of lint just out of reach , so I used my rubber comb to fish for it and dropped it ..in the dryer ... I commenced removing fasteners to get the comb , BIG mistake . I was sweating beads for hours trying to get dryer together before she comes home , she's coming . Its one of those jobs you wished you never started .. I have the same washer and dryer in my unit. My question is… Does the washer have a filter or something that is located inside of the drum? I took it off and it was nasty. I wash it but I couldn’t tell if what I took off was a filter or just dirt and slime. The washer was from the apts but they don’t want the hassle to fix it so if I repair anything on this machine , it’s ours to keep. But it does sound like the pump may be going out. Idk, cu it makes allot of noise when it is draining.

Windex the floor in front of each foot the direction you want it to go. Takes a bit of effort to start but once it hits the Windex it's a breeze. 😁

    Your video is VERY uninformative .
    All you do is stand next to a unit and discuss its size and plug!
    You have no in depth details whatsoever- such as: the cycle time, any pre- soak feature, what types of wash load settings, etc……..
    I looked at this unit at Lowe’s and there is no setting for load size as YOU stated in this video.
    Learn how to properly narrate an instruction video.
