Easy and Quick Vegan Meal - Delicious Creamy PEAS and TOFU

  • Pea puree and smoked tofu recipe:
    Put water in a pot to boil, and when the water begins to boil add 900g frozen peas for about 10 minutes. Check that the beans are soft.
    Heat 150 ml of vegetable milk, I used oat milk.
    Drain the water from the peas and add to a blender, 50g vegetable butter, garlic to taste, 3 tablespoons inactive yeast flakes, salt and pepper and the warm milk. Blend well until you get a fine paste.
    The puree is ready and can be served as it is, but if you want a smoother texture you can pass it through a sieve to remove the peels.
    Cut the smoked tofu into cubes and turn it in the pan on all sides for about 3 minutes, while the water evaporates and it browns a little.
    You can take care of the tofu while the peas are boiling, prepare the other ingredients needed for the puree, and dinner will be ready in 15 minutes.
    Garnish with sesame and olive oil.
