Why isn't air refrigeration cycle used in general air condition of rooms, AC in cars or in household refrigerators, are there any real life disadvantages that makes this cycle impractical?
Respected sir, At 12:25, why have you taken negative*negative= positive. If work is done on air compressor than work must be negative. Please correct me and guide me that where I am wrong. Also, processes 2-3 and 4-1 of the refrigeration cycle are having volume change, then why work done is not being considered of those processes. Thank you
The analysis is on a control volume. As I see, a certain part of gas is following the cycle inside a control volume. This doubt comes when we see it as a closed system cycle, The completely closed chamber makes us feel like it.

Air contains oxygen and moisture. Both are very dangerous for air conditioning. If u try to put air inside your house or car AC then it will react with the compressor oil and cause explosion. Its very dangerous. You will die.

Sir bell coleman cycle me compressor volume aur compressor displacement ek hi chij hai ya alag alag hai. Same for expander ke liye bataiye sir.

Why is the answer in the COP different when I used the derived (T1)/(T2-T1) formula than when I used the (T1-T4)/((T2-T1)-(T3-T4))?
Because it is not a carnot cycle as you use formula of that

why does the phase not change in air refeigeration cycle?
bcz air does not change its phase
In air refrigeration cycles , refrigent remains in gaseous state throughout cycle
Because air is not pure substance....
