Lecture Series on Refrigeration & Air-conditioning by Prof. Ravi Kumar, Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India
sir could you please tell me what happens when AC is turned off and the refrigerant which is still inside the evaporator is subjected to room temperature , whether it will change the phase or is there any device which controls this change in phase, if it changes its phase then it will create pressure on the pressure on the walls of evaporator since compressor is turned off. What exactly Happens inside??

Thanku so much sir..for such a excellent explanation in short of all basics of thermodynamics term..which is back bone of every subject which come under thermal engineering.....
I think the explanation for process was wrong... That explanation was for a path... A process is a method that we used to achieve that path.. Or method we used to change the initial and final state of the system
Was not able to understand how violation of Kelvin Planck automatically violates other? What I understood was if we voilate 1 law than we get 2nd law. Plz clearify
Thanks sir for explaining thermodynamics in such way
U are all doing the good job sir.. Ur videos are helpfull..
Very clear and concise explanation. Thank you Sir.
Nice for helping students.
Thermodynamic equilibrium includes all of these
Thermal,mechanical and chemical equilibrium.
How can I have all his DVDs or how can I get from the place that distributing those dvds?
Sir, thank you so much....

Below 10kpa vapour considered as a gas,
How much should be it's temperature !
Is it in critical temperature?

Why we took specific heat at constant vol. In integration of internal energy ....please any one if can shed some light on it....thanku
As we know "Q=u+w" when volume is constant then the work is zero and heat is directly converts in internet energy that's why u=Q=m*Cv*dT
Sir how can I download this ppt ?
SOUND QUALITY BETTER THEN OTHER VIDEOS....
Too fast to comprehend.. I had to pause and play back to understand the concept that was told; but good teaching and explanation
Thank You Sir :)
Great Job.....
Thank you sir
I couldn't understand the part in which u explained the " Violation of clausius statement"
i love you sir❤
Thanks sir, you had me pass this exam. Lol
i still can't understand these laws without simple visual examples and minimum use of intgrals and derivatives involved
where can we find the slides that he is discussing
Thank you so much sir 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
