12900KS will be the better performer, but you will have to deal with things such as thermal issues and will have to pay a premium for the higher performance over the 12900K.
Hey ive been playing some pretty cpu intensive games and have been running a bit slower than usual and I have this exact cpu all drivers or updated and temps or all good what should I do?
Go download HWInfo and monitor your CPU temps as you play games, see if it gets too hot, then it may be time to reapply some new good thermal paste. You can download HWinfo here: www.hwinfo.com/
I have a question is this a good cpu for gaming and some game development and what gpu should I pair it with i was looking at a rx 7900 gre but idk if that’s a good pair
I only game on my pc should I go for 12700 k money is not a issue or should I just get 12900k (Don’t care for 13 or 14intel) 12 intel run cool and low wattage
Upgrading to this beast from a 12400 intel i5 12th gen
Thanks man
You're welcome!

Upgrading from i5 12th gen to this i9 12th gen.
That's a great upgrade!

I have this CPU. I highly recommend a liquid cooler.
@Grant427ci will a 240mm aio keep this cool with another 9 case fans
That's exactly what I use on my Gaming PC and it does the job!
yo 12900kf + rx 7800xt 1080p 144fps(hz) is good? getting it soon
1080p might be a fairly low resolution for your rig, 1440p might be a better option for you
No, get a 4070 or higher gpu. wtf are u doing pairing a 7800 with an intel cpu??? NO BRO tf
@@godnamedtaythey are near the same performance, in some cases the 7800 is better than the 4070
Would I need a better graphics card using this cpu? I have a RTX 3060
Really depends on the games you play, but RTX 3060 is a pretty good card for most games.
@@ZadiusTech I play Rainbow Six Siege and Apex mostly
I have a i7 1100 series
You play at 1080p or 1440p?
@@ZadiusTech I have a LG 1440p OLED 240hz monitor
would it be ok to pair with 16384MB ATI AMD Radeon RX 580 2048SP ?
no
NOOOOO bruh wtf. NO
Better to just use it's iGpu then your Rx 580 due to age, driver optimization and so fourth

I use the 12900K with my RTX 4090 and it works great with it, so it should work great with a rx 7900 as well.
I have a rtx 4090 and a i9 12900kf
Do you think im fine?
I wanna play on 1440p
And 144hz
That's almost the same as my gaming pc and what I play at, so you'll be fine!
@@ZadiusTech will a 4070 ti go good with the 12900k?
Oh for sure, I use a 4090 with my 12900K and its able to power that just fine.
Is it normal for my i9 12900k to be hitting 99c under load ?
If you don't already have a water cooler on it, I'd install one.
First 🥇
Paired it with a rtx 4060
