Blind Faith - Can't Find My Way Home
🎬 Original Acoustic Version: • Blind Faith ~ Can't Fi...
🎤 Can't Find My Way Home Lyrics:
Come down off your throne and leave your body alone
    Somebody must change
You are the reason I've been waiting all these years
    Somebody holds the key
Well, I'm near the end and I just ain't got the time
And I'm wasted and I can't find my way home
I can't find my way home
But I can't find my way home
But I can't find my way home
But I can't find my way home
Still I can't find my way home
    And I've done nothing wrong
But I can't find my way home

One of my all time favorites, from Traffic to Blind Faith…Steve Winwood never gets old! I’m totally fascinated with your teaching ability and choices of songs! My husband plays guitar but he often gets in a rut or just gets stuck analyzing too much! OCD big time! I know you could help him push thru!!! Do you do house calls???😂😂😂m

Hi Jimmy, for a minute with that white hair, I thought can't be Al Pacino playing guitar, lol. You guys both have a good head of hair. Great lessons. I noticed you really like Clapton and Blind Faith songs. Thanks.Peace.

Hey Jimmy, thanks for showing me how to play this classic by Blind Faith 🙏🙏🙏 don't suppose you could show us mere mortals some of the acoustic intro guitar solo in the original song...I believe there are multiple guitar overdubs ..thanks my brother

I'm neutral on the Drop D option, better
for learning purposes to use the std tuning
I think, unless this is the only song in someone's
repertoire. Tuning down is so easy, but the critical
thing for this song is being able to sing it.
I especially like your walk-up during; 'got the time',
there is something just not supporting the melody
of the voice in that spot with one guitar, it gets really
flabby there, with one guitar. 'Got the time' over a
simple A, just has never felt right to me.
As I write this, I was thinking there is probably a
magical chord that fits as well, I'm not good with
theory, but I fingered this chord and looked it up
    afterword; Em11 , Hence; G (near the end and I )
A (just ain't) Em11 (Got the) D (time). The fingering
for the Em11, is very similar to the D typ used for
this song, instead of holding down 'a' string 3,
let the open 'g' ring out, and the finger that would
hold it down moves over to the 'e' on string 4.
I'm sure you know how to come up with an
EM11, but newer players may not, know how to get
    that particular voicing.
I will try both the 'run-up' and this chord this afternoon,
and see how that section shapes up.
