I've got the purple version and its hands down my favorite watch in my collection. It's so lightweight that I'd forget I'm even wearing it if I wasn't staring at its beauty all the time.
It's a cool watch. I'm not sure about spending that much on a square, but I definitely get the appeal. I actually got my 1st titanium watch a few months ago, and it's COMFY. I get along fine with steel watches on steel bracelets weighing ~150g, but it's just a simple reality that _lighter_ is *comfier* . Some have a strong idea in their minds that more weight means more quality. I don't have any gold watch yet for example, but I definitely understand that if you shell out the $$ for gold, you'll want to feel the weight of it on your wrist. Steel has no prestige, though, so I'm for titanium (preferred with a hardness coating), forged carbon, ceramic. Premium materials can be lighter than steel as well as heavier. Anyway, my most expensive G-shock square is my GW-5000U, and I'm pretty satisfied with that.
That's a beauty alright! But I'm not spending that much on Carbon Fiber, I might get a Titanium version but I would most likely just get a regular all steel version.
Very expensive for a carbon fiber. There are titanium ones in this price range. I have the full stainless steel version, and the GW - 5000U with a steel core and resin bezel. This carbon one is more for collectors, kept in a box until the battery is discharged like on that rose gold one.

Is the clasp on yours really loud and rattles?
@TheRealBruceLee I wouldn't say it's really loud at all, but it definitely rattles a little bit.

I appreciate the review as always Chavo. Gorgeous watch. You probably don’t even feel the watch on you. Crazy.
I hope they make this one again as a non-special edition!
Wish I knew this existed when you were able to get one.
I’m not paying crazy markups on the secondary market.
Bummer.
Having several squares, stainless is one thing, but my favs are the CF and the TVA, great squares.

Great vid subbed. Keep it up man 🤙🏾
This is my Grail watch , as soon as I saw the announcement I wanted it , eventually I’ll get my hands on one ! ☝️

The carbon is light, awesome, but is it strong ? I would buy one with a MIP display, but same functionality. Thanks for the review!
I think it's supposed to be super strong.
I bet they won’t do another carbon square again. That would be a baller move.
If you are used to weight on your wrist.then a light watch is a trip..it happens to me a lot because I switch between my Seiko and G-shock
The display is negative, but with STN-LCD technology, so with higher contrast and better readability than the base TN-LCD found on cheaper/resin ones.

Carbon…Will my hand sweat?😢?!?
can i have one, please.
It’s in the mail.
Wonder how much carbon is actually in it. I reckon it's way overpriced. I'd get the purple but the price. 🤔
That transition from case to bracelet looks horribly abrupt and disconnected. Was much better on the older B5000 models.
