I beat this game in a day. First time I’d ever finished a new game completely in 1 day. Now I’m chasing achievements
To beat this video game, you just have to prove to God that there's no such thing as infallible morality, and therefore the premise of his all-knowing, all-loving, all-judging nature is false.
Or you can just kill Persephone and steal her crown, and threaten the dude in the next loop, both give you the good ending. He's also not a God, Elysium sounds like a different planet in this games lore.

What's interesting about this is IIRC there were exactly 2000 silver coins distributed throughout the world, and the player is in possession of literally the last one. If they'd failed, Pluto would've left all those people locked in statue form forever.

I do also agree with the others who commented the same, that it probably doesn't do you any favours to have a spoiler in the title. I do undertand that if people search specifically for this, as I did, it probably doesn't matter, but for anyone who hasn't played the game through this ending yet, I doubt they'll have any positive associations to the cannel/streamer who spoiled it. Just a thought.

No actually . If you read one of the other comments, this was my first run through. I was taking every choice carefully as I didn't want any deaths or anything to happen that would void the achievement
Long pauses? Those are not long pauses! He is just taking a few seconds to reflect on what the incel from outer space just told him. This is a game that is intended to make you really think about things.

@@bobobsen I disagree; Persephone doesn't want him, and has also decided to forego immortality to he with humans. Pluto responds to this by kidnapping and keeping her his prisoner, while he tortures humans in order to get her to subsume to what HE wants.

People discover different things in different times, and the devs specifically asked not to reveal this part of the game without some sort of disclaimer. do whatever you like, im just saying that you are spoiling the game for other people, there is literally someone in this comment section who said the title for this video spoiled the ending for them. whether you care or not is really up to you

The writing here was pretty weak even for the single successful path. He was a tyrant who refused the truth 99% of the time. He is the scum he accused humans of being except worse.
That isn't poor writing, though, I would argue. That's just a realistic portrayal of a person who's wrong and needs to be convinced of the truth. That's very intentionally the "final boss battle" of the game - convincing him.
The best writing in gaming history for me was fallout 1 last boss - the Master

convince hades to abolish golden rule without killing Persephone the way the guy does it works but there’s an easier way but you need to know all the sins people are doing (rufius harassing Vergil iulia getting scammed desius overpricing medicine and one more I forgot)
@@yessir3997 Shouldn't there be two more? Locking up an innocent person for sins that he has not even committed, or may not even commit at all?
Oh and... There's a girl chained up in the town's cistern... Can't forget about her! There is also a woman who has shut herself up in a temple, gone completely fucking mad and is torturing golden people by basically skinning them alive. She was genuinely trying to help them by releasing them from their golden imprisonment, not realizing that she would be making their suffering worse. The sin isn't hers, though, it's the incel from outer space.
