He did Lego Star Wars III dirty. It was a really fun game with a great variety that differs from other Lego games. The ground battles where the best ones ever! I really loved this game and had it on 100% 3 times by now
He’s playing these Lego games back to back. Id get sick of them after finishing my second Lego game. The same formula over and over again will make the later Lego games easier to dislike
nah i get what he meant. the ground battles are great and fun when you do them every once in a while. but having to do more than 10 of them back to back, on a timer to unlock a character and then having to do them all over again to get another one does feel very grindy and exhausting. the game is great tho, it really is. one of my favs
About LEGO Star Wars III and those 32 Ground Assault missions. There's a red brick called "Super Speeders" and it basically allows BARC and STAP speeders (the default speeders that spawn in every Ground Assault mission) to destroy silver and gold objects. It costs 40 million studs but it's very useful. So you just start a Ground Assault, hop on a speeder that should spawn close to you and then just destroy everything. That's what I did and it made ground battles much easier. I know it's too late for you but I hope it will help other people trying to get 100% in LSW3
I always wondered why Savage Opress is the ONLY character in the entire series that can be unlocked ONLY through a cheat code. Not like a secret character you get through doing something, you specifically had to find that code somewhere. And they never did that again
They actually did it quite a few more times. Not a common thing, but certainly more than just once. For example, in Skywalker Saga, there's 2 ships and a few character skins you can only get with codes.
As someone who once tried to 100% every video game with my sibling, I respect this. However, I hope what happened to me doesn't happen to you. Nothing is worse than spending hundreds of hours to complete a game with over a thousand bricks, only to find out that you can never attain one due to a glitch. Also, I'm surprised at the number of people in the comments who seem to greatly dislike ground battles from Clone Wars. Those are one of the best things in the entire series, imo. I wish they brought them back.
Lego Harry Potter 1-4 was one of my first games I remember getting for Christmas!!! I love both Lego Harry Potter games!!!! One of my favorite Lego games!!!! ^-^
Lego Star Wars 3 was the first Lego game I ever played and I absolutely loved it. The only annoying thing was dooing all those ground assault missions so many time. but TCW is one of my all time favorite tv shows, so a lot of my enjoyment comes from that.
I been waiting for part two for awhile and I'll say that the wait was worth it. Your voice is nice and soothing to listen to which makes the video entertaining to watch your opinions on these games, Especially since I'm attached to these Lego Games. I'm sure the wait for part 3 will be worth the wait as well! Keep up the good work man!
Yo great video as per usual bro. I know you maybe didn't like the clone wars game that much and the levels maybe felt a bit strange but most of the levels are ripped straight from the cartoon, it's crazy how accurate they are and for me it's just a huge nostalgia trip. Can't wait for the next video aswell, nearly all of the next 6 are amazing imo, superheros, batman 2 and LOTR are treats to 100%.
Normally i like playing LEGO games but after completing them all, along with doing Indy 1 and SWS for the first time, over the last few years i just feel burnt out on them. Whenever i think "I wanna replay that one" i just remember all the frustrating parts of the game i never want to deal with. The two Harry Potter games along with Clone Wars, Pirates, Jurassic World and even The Force Awakens are among my favourites.
I'm hesitant to say this but Indiana Jones 2 may be my favorite of the ones covered in this episode when growing up. It was my first open world and something about them just felt so charming. Glitching into areas you weren't supposed to be in yet was also very fun. Harry Potter 1 was also nice, but my opinions on that game is shaped by the friend I played it with not being a great coop partner.
I wonder if the "degredation of quality" is because of the license holders. I have a friend who's fairly big in one of the studios covered. And things she's mentioned offhandedly makes me wonder how much of a stranglehold TTG has over creative features. Imagine, for a moment, Rowling Estate required all those extra filler characters to beat out the previous game in character count. But since there are only, like, four people in Harry Potter, they were pretty much required to use every actor used in the cutscenes as their own seperate character. So because they had to have a few people scouring every frame of every film for every character they can try to use, they couldn't use those people for level design. Causing the overinflation of roster and underwhelming levels. Because we do have The Hobbit. Where we were going to get the third movie as a DLC expansion, to give time for the game to promote the third movie, without pulling a Star Wars I and telling the story first. But due to.... well, all that; TTG lost the license to sell the game before they had a chance to release it. So now Lego Hobbit is 2/3rds the game it's supposed to be, without accounting for the additional DLC they had planned after that.
I really love these videos. I watched the first one a while back and was disappointed that there wasn’t a part 2. And surprise…Part 2 appeared on my feed and it’s great. Thanks you!
LEGO Indiana Jones 2 is still one of my favourite games. Outside the vehicle levels which are boring, I actually love that every other level is short because they feel straightforward and the exploration of the hub, and post-game is what I love more. The bonus levels and then the mechanic of revisiting the levels in the aftermath for artifcats I think is really creative. Seperating it into 6 different hubs make it feel so tight and compact, it's less stressful to 100%.
I quite like the ground battles in Clone Wars as i grew up with RTS games. (Granted it was just Age Of Empires and its sequel plus some dabbling with Warcraft III) Kinda want to boot up the game and conquer the galaxy for whichever side in my 100% file. Thanfully both complete conquer characters have codes so that reduces the grind.
I'm a 33 year old dude who never played the Lego games until this year. I was 15 when the first Lego star wars came out and even back then I was like nah i'll pass, I'm ready for more mature games. This is a decision I now regret 😂 I'm having a blast with them. I started out with Lego city undercover PS4 remaster and then decided to purchase all of them in order on PS3 and PS4. I just today saw that I was subscribed to you and clicked to see what this channel was, and then I remembered that I subbed for part two of this, it wasn't yet posted, but now it is XD what a coincidence
I'm surprised that LEGO Harry Potter 5-7 was the only game in this video that you liked because I honestly thought it was kind of a lame sequel that didn't innovate anything from the first game aside from the graphics, some quick-time events, and a few new abilities.
@@CamReviews Pretty big coincidence considering that only ten people have played that game. I'm playing it for the first time before P3 Reload releases next month. SUCH A GOOD GAME.
well, you *can* share the levels, but it's basically PC only each level has a separate file in the saves folder, but some of the level data exists on the actual game save instead... so you need to prepare the game save to receive a level someone sent you

Love this series because I started this last year, but if you add in achievements for these games, it makes a lot more tedious, especially with Lego Star Wars 2
@@AlexLawSG I'm kinda weird, because I prefer classic LEGO gameplay a lot more :v I don't like hard games, I also don't like it when games are so big I often don't know what to do besides run around the map and hope something happens. That's why I like old LEGO games so much - they are accessible and straight-forward. I started replaying many LEGO games recently, and I was fully expecting to be blinded by nostalgia, but no, I actually enjoyed them quite a lot. They are now my go-to games whenever I want to relax. And it's kinda strange how I disagree with almost everything said in this video
@@skewyangel Nah man you're not weird I'm like that too. I don't like games that are very big and the story depends on what you do. I like being given the exact objective and a linear pathway. The reason I said old LEGO games haven't aged well is because they are so tedious to 100% complete and when I start a LEGO game I'm not stopping until it's 100% done. I'm a perfectionist. LSWTCS burned me out with all the stuff you have to do. It's a great game thoo! Cheers.
Do you also plan to 100% some of the DS versions of games since, for example, Lego Batman and Lego Star Wars II have DS releases that are honestly vastly different compared to their releases on other consoles? Anyway, good luck on your 100%-ing journey!
Just a note for planet assult mission. Super speeders makes playing each of them trivial so if you were trying to 100% this game then using that makes it easier than having to play each of them legit, because super speeders makes it so the regular speeder can destroy both gold and silver objects. So it can be really difficult and tedious or really boring and uninteresting with no real in between
this was a really great video, but i was just wondering if maybe you could suggest things that you would've liked, instead of just saying somthing was no great or that you would've changed, some of these kinda confused me and i'd really like you opinions on how they could've changed the game to make it better. (ig. the ride level in POTC: what do you think could've made it cooler?) great video though, really nice quailty, keep up the good work!
i think LIJ2 works well when seen as a bonus to LIJ1, rather than a sequel/remake. Yeah, it still adapts the previous movies so it works as a game by itself, but it released a year after the first one so having completely new takes on all the previous levels which were already done really well wouldn't make much sense, but neither would making it a "complete saga" style game that's only adding 1 movie to the first one. if you see it as something to be played together with LIJ1, it works better. You have LIJ1 for the regular levels, free play, etc. and then LIJ2 adds the open worlds, level building, and stuff from the 4th movie.
As a british person i am deeply offended by your pronunciation of the river Thames i now expect a full youtuber apology before i forgive you of this sin
I think, like you said, your problem with Lego Star Wars 3 is that you dont like the series it was based on. Like many lego games, most of the fun comes from understanding where the levels design come from, and what the humor is referring to. I've seen people make the same complains about Complete Saga and Harry Potter because they weren't into these franchises. Also the ground battles was a great and original idea. Considering the amount of new stuff they brought in this game, I think you were a bit unfair by calling it mediocre.
I stopped playing Indy 2 after completing the first three mission of Crystal Skull. I'm glad I'm not alone in not enjoying the gameplay changes. I don't think I even started the boss fight, I just remember brawling with Mutt, doing the vehicle mission with the bikes, and puzzling my way into the fridge. Then got fed up when I tried to go into Treasure for something in Part 2, and getting treated with a Star Wars Bounty Hunter mission instead of freeplay. Edit: Hearing about the replay mode it DOES have would be an amazing concept in other games, I think. SWII on DS has a similar feature, because it was easier on the DS to have live cutscenes instead of the "prerendered" ones we see in the release games. Which means that any character you currently are using will perform the actions then, with often hilarious results (Yoda kickflipping his way through serious moments was always fun) I wish they went that road within Traveler's Tales. I doubt we'll ever get it at this point, because voice acting now. And if Skywalker Saga is any indication, no more character customizer. The concept of seeing your zany Emperor 3PO with a broom instead of a lightsaber tell Leia Darth Vader is their father, or a superhero of your own making saving New York / Gotham alongside your player 2's character...
I'm curious to know what you think about Lego City Undercover now knowing your opinion on the compass mechanic and the binocular mechanic since Lego City Undercover has those mechanics.
love your vids, you were a lot more positive in the first part of the review sounds like your kinda burnt out on these games man. i hope your still having fun making these vids man 😘
Finally, someone willing to criticise Lego Indy 2. As someone who grew up with and adored Lego Indy 1 it was so disappointing to find out and then play the undercooked snore-fest that was Lego Indy 2 and then to go online and find out that not only did most people only play Lego Indy 2 and not 1, but they also tout Lego Indy 2 as their all time favourite Lego game? I thought I was going insane!
I feel you. I actually got criticized for criticizing LEGO Indiana Jones 2. It was a major disappointment for me, too. It isn't the worst LEGO game (that would be LEGO Friends), but it is one of the worse TT LEGO games (although the LEGO Movie 2 video game is arguably even worse).

My only thought would be like regarding the harry potter levels from 1-4 and saying they reuse areas like the hub but thats hogwarts? the scenes in those movies happen in the school? and then the later years are more focussed away from hogwarts which is why there arent really reused levels? I 100% completed Lego Batman on DS, Lego Indiana Jones The Original Adventures on DS & then the first 2 Star Wars ones on PS2.
Love this series because I started this last year, but if you add in achievements for these games, it makes a lot more tedious, especially with Lego Star Wars 2
I've been wanting to do achievements but steam doesn't have achievements until Lego Lord of the rings for some reason
You make such good and entertaining videos I love everytime you upload
The video with lego city undercover AND lego marvel super heros is gonna go so crazy
Amazing!! 50:10
No offense, but I genuinely cannot tell if you're just a critical person, or you just don't like any of the old LEGO games
In my opinion older LEGO games haven't exactly aged well although there's still a ton of fun to be found in them.
@@AlexLawSG I'm kinda weird, because I prefer classic LEGO gameplay a lot more :v
I don't like hard games, I also don't like it when games are so big I often don't know what to do besides run around the map and hope something happens.
Cheers.
Did you watch the last video? He loved the first set of old ones.
I imagine that playing all of them back to back makes you a bit sick of them.
nice to know so many people are looking back to the lego games again and also beating them in order of release just like me
Can't wait until u get to Lego City Undecover. What a grind lmao
Do you also plan to 100% some of the DS versions of games since, for example, Lego Batman and Lego Star Wars II have DS releases that are honestly vastly different compared to their releases on other consoles?
Anyway, good luck on your 100%-ing journey!
I have already made videos on all of the handheld games! :D
@@CamReviews Yeah, fair enough. I think that's more than enough of an excuse for you to not 100% those in this series.
As a British fan, I am outraged you pronounced the H. It's just "Tems"
Lego pirates of the caribbean is west hood classic, banger and pure fire
Just a note for planet assult mission. Super speeders makes playing each of them trivial so if you were trying to 100% this game then using that makes it easier than having to play each of them legit, because super speeders makes it so the regular speeder can destroy both gold and silver objects. So it can be really difficult and tedious or really boring and uninteresting with no real in between
Waiting for part 3.
Love the shoutout to BD1P I am a fan of both of you guys and had no idea that you knew each other
I hope this series continues I love this lol
Part 3 will be exciting!
Watched the last one and enjoyed it, I am looking forward to this one.
Lego Indiana Jones 2 is my favorite Lego game, and or Lego pirates of the Caribbean.
@gordonfreeman2634 see, someone gets me
this was a really great video, but i was just wondering if maybe you could suggest things that you would've liked, instead of just saying somthing was no great or that you would've changed, some of these kinda confused me and i'd really like you opinions on how they could've changed the game to make it better. (ig. the ride level in POTC: what do you think could've made it cooler?) great video though, really nice quailty, keep up the good work!
i think LIJ2 works well when seen as a bonus to LIJ1, rather than a sequel/remake.
43:26 omg I thought the exact same Thing while 100% this game (btw thanks for hearting my other comment)
FINALLY!!!!!!!!!
As a british person i am deeply offended by your pronunciation of the river Thames i now expect a full youtuber apology before i forgive you of this sin
Out of these I've only played Pirates, I remember it was good but I didn't really 100% it, I might in the future
Your music taste is phenomenal 🔥
I loved Lego Indiana Jones 2. One of my most played lego games
Which means that any character you currently are using will perform the actions then, with often hilarious results (Yoda kickflipping his way through serious moments was always fun)
I wish they went that road within Traveler's Tales.
Who else stayed for more than 30 minutes in the ground battles because watching your troops fighting was cool?
Part 3 is gonna be a lot more enjoyable to complete. Lego Hobbit is the shit
I'm curious to know what you think about Lego City Undercover now knowing your opinion on the compass mechanic and the binocular mechanic since Lego City Undercover has those mechanics.
love your vids, you were a lot more positive in the first part of the review sounds like your kinda burnt out on these games man.
i hope your still having fun making these vids man 😘
just a friendly PSA the cat skin you complained about? she literally turns into a cat in that exact bathroom in the 2nd movie😂
I know old lego games aren’t that great, but you’re like very critical of everything in these games
Thank you, this made my weekend
Been waiting for this
Finally, someone willing to criticise Lego Indy 2.
@@Highretrogamelord Never played Lego Friends but would 100% agree with you on Lego Movie 2 being abysmal. Glad to find someone who agrees with my surprisingly rare opinion
In my opinion Lego Marvel Superheroes on 3DS is the worst Lego game Published by TT Games. Or Lego Ninjago Nindroids for the 3DS
@@CamReviews Haven't played much of the handheld TT Lego games but I've been trying to get my hands on all of them, ironically Lego Marvel Superheroes 3DS is one of the few I have played if only for a little bit and from what I remember that was a pretty bad game. I'll have to get my hands on NInjago Nindroids though to see how bad that one is, haven't found many of the Ninjago games unfortunately.
@@CamReviews I have only played the PC LEGO games, except for LEGO Star Wars II GBA version which I have on a bootleg handheld.
Have you played FortNite Lego yet? it's a survival game!!
It’s actually a post-game style DLC pack for the actual Fortnite. It’s not supposed to count.
I do get the feeling you are quite critical. It’s fine if you don’t enjoy or like something but it feels like you just HATE things
Lego star wars 3 is so nostalgic for me
I’m so happy with this series
Letssss gooooo actually hyped for this
Здравствуйте, спасибо за 2 часть прохождения на 100 процентов, желаю удачи 👍
I was actually playing LEGO Star Wars III while watching this video.
My only thought would be like regarding the harry potter levels from 1-4 and saying they reuse areas like the hub but thats hogwarts? the scenes in those movies happen in the school? and then the later years are more focussed away from hogwarts which is why there arent really reused levels? Also the pirates of the caribbean bonus is based on the ride as you said so its going to function as the ride?
