True if someone really feels connected to you and cares or misses you enough to put effort they will reach out. Or they will stay quiet bc they are not capable of being vulnerable like you are. That is the mismatch and these differences will keep violating one another and keep you stuck in frustrations.

Sometimes you've done someone wrong and you try to fix it and the other person isn't willing to forgive no matter how hard you try. At some point you have to let go,forgive yourself and say you gave it your best shot.
Sometimes, people forgive but there are still consequences. And sadly, those consequences may mean that things will never be able to feel or be the same for the other person. As long as the letting go and carrying on doesn't mean staying angry at the person for "not being forgiving enough" (which minimizes the pain they received and might not want to have to deal with again), I agree.

I’m also going through some tough times. I was just rejected by the girl I love, it hit hard. I got into alcohol and excessive drinking. I started Puking every night. I just want to say thank you. I mean I'm sure you know the pain I feel right now and that's partially why you made this video, but genuinely thank you. It hurts so much when every fiber of your being says "They're the one!" and you have every reason in the world to move on but you still feel such impossible amounts of love for someone only to find that love hitting a brick wall with nothing on the other side. I try to reason with it every day and list off every reason why she doesn't deserve me and why I don't deserve her and yet I still feel that maybe if one day her heart told her what mine tells me then everything would be alright, but that day isn't coming. I know it won't and yet I find it impossible to let go of the hope that it will. I've grown up with her and we were together a long time ago and I've never stopped feeling terrible for the way things turned out between us, but we were so young then and we've been such good friends for so long afterwards, but ever since she's never felt any sort of love for me at all. I know I'll never be able to change the past but I never stop wishing I had been better when that love was there. Never stop wishing that even now when she's finally moving away and forming a life of her own without me in it and I'm slowly slipping away from years of friendship and growth together and she forgets me more and more each day, that I had just been better. I'm getting better at not feeling the pain as much anymore, but the thoughts still circulate every day and I don't know where to go from here. It's so good and motivating.. but what I feel is that I loved him and I love him enough to let him go and watch him happy without me. My gf ran out on me and it was so sudden that a world collided for me. It's all just platitudes if you can't feel who you are and are hurting. If you could, you wouldn't be hurting. Many crushes are just the longing for a person we made up in our heads before we found out who we were crushing on! Everyone is just an idea. And even if they're what you 'want' when you get to know them, the only person you can enjoy when you're with them is yourself. Therefore perhaps it's a good plan to find out who you are, and be friends with that as a firm basis for all other interactions.
