Thank you so much. Very informative.. I was about to give up … chain would get dull very quickly. .. watched your video yesterday , after watching my saw killed it today. Thanks again
fantastic tips, thank you for your videos. State side I use Super Clean for chain cleaning before sharping works big time. Lastly, the price of a CBN wheel is well worth it. I believe you have covered it in the past stating on your side of the pond the price is through the roof but, you are no stranger to quality tools. Give it a go, I'm sure you'll be asking yourself why did I wait so long? Please keep up the great content. this was an afterthought, State side a CBN wheel is ball park $100 plus shipping. They last n last. Best of luck
The few videos i have seen, some people when they come down on the chain the chain moves to the side a bit like it wasn't clamped tight enough to keep the chain stationary. I kinda figured to avoid the heat a guy would come down and make contact then up then back down for another contact then up like that until done? I have a couple grinders have yet to try them.
High grit wheels create more heat and if your not careful you will burn the cutter. I have found that loading up a wheel with candle wax helps to keep things cooler.
Hello Tinker. Your grinder is a 511 clone. Is there a brand of clone name you can pass along? I am also curious who makes your dressing stone. Enjoy your Aussie summer, it is -15 C today where I am in Canada. Thank for the vid.
