Yes, the answer is 5. This is subtraction of numbers in modulo 6.
2 - 3 = - 1. Since we can't have negative in modulo 6, we add 6 to it to give 5 as the result of 2 - 3 (mod 6)

Please sir the (a) I think the x=10 because if I multiply 4 by 5 the answer is 20
20=8(mod 6) is wrong but 50=8(mod 6) I think is right

What if you have 9-5x=13 (mod 7)😮

9 - 5x = 13 (mod 7)
5x = 9 - 13 (mod 7)
5x = - 4 (mod 7)
5x = - 4 + 14 (mod 7) {since 14 is a multiple of 7}
5x = 10 (mod 7)
x = 2 ( mod 7)
