Wow! Thanks for the memories! Your video made me recall all the sounds these bikes used to make, with normal riding. I bought myself one these brand new in 1979 and collected it from the suzuki dealer on my 17th birthday. I owned it for two years, and loved every moment of it :-)
Back in the day. 17 years old mmm. That takes me back, Nothing between my ears. Freedom ruled supremely. Everything that was important you had between your legs.. The X7 was one of them. Absolutely loved it🤩 ... Great Days.
Owned one RLV196T, RED, LOVED IT, had some duels on it, heavy on juice when opened up, no trouble started up in winter no problem, handling could be a problem in the wet, hairy I'll tell you!
had identical x7 in red . jr1 1979. I bought 2nd hand 1980. one of my favorite bikes owned. I was 19 years old and weighed about 10 stone. used to fly .. really gets exiting around 5 500 revs. doodle to work on. could do small ends and head gasket in 20 mins. had Michelin on mine m38s if I remember. front disc brake was better than YAmaha and heavy Honda dream. kwaker cripple was bout 3 bhp less. it was the first bike I owned that became a part of me and never let me down. the handling even saved my life on a couple of occassions. lthing I know I wouldn't be writing 37 years later if I had been on an RD a CB or KH. 250....
1st August 1980 my arse !!! This is clearly a V-registration which ran from August 1979 - July 1980. It was actually the W-registration that made it's debut in August 1980.
Not August 1st 80 plate. 01/08/80 would make it a W. Had a new RD in Aug' 80 and that was W. This'd have to be July at latest, unless it's had plate change. X7 was fastest air cooled 250, then LCs came along
I would like to buy this motorcycle where is your location ? Do they reach the kingdom of Saudi Arabia? مشاركة هذه الترجمة الرسائل القصيرة SMSالبريد الإلكترونيWhatsAppTwitterGoogle+ الس

My second bike. I thought I was the bee's knees. I can smell the 2-stroke.
Nothing around that compares to them these days, a true gt 2stroke that was hugely popular and for good reason.

I had a brand new one in white and still remember the reg YHY854V loved it 👍
Que hermosura de moto
In 1983 I moved from a gt200x5 to an x7, the 250 had loads more torque and would cruise at 70 to 80 easily. Brings back wonderful memories 👍🏻😎
I ought one mid eighties.. I thought it was a better bike than the 250lc.. until I got hold of an LC.. both great iconic bikes. Great days indeed.
Those were the days ! we had the best of them ! :o)
Too right,,,,,sold my X7 in 1982 to buy a 350 LC.
Nic Nak spot on!
الله يرزق الجميع ،،
I did my first 100 mph on the x7 many years ago ,such a fun bike to ride loved owning it
I had one in blue, several years ago. Fantastic little bike. Only a bit thirsty but that was the only real drawback.
Makes me want to acquire another!!
