Super Mario Bros. Movie 1998 in 3D Movie Maker 3DMM

- Using Microsoft 3D Movie Maker when I was 11 years old in 1998 I made a Super Mario Bros. movie animation based on the first video game on NES, though Super Mario 64 music was used since that game had a few remixed tracks from the first Nintendo Entertainment System game. There were no mods for the program at the time so I built hand made characters and had to animated them piece by piece. Painstakingly. I was patient has hell as a kid. God damn son of a bitch.
I had planned to make a Mario Bros 2 and 3 movie but never found the time to plan or animate it. But if this were to hit a million views...I may have to work on a Mario 2 animation after all... Though Mario 3 is my favorite.

This Remind Of That 3D Flash Animations I Watch In My Computer When I Was 3 Years Old In 2016,Good Memories
Flash animations would have been starting up around the same time. I always wanted to get the program and try it but didn't know where to begin. I was too young and just had this more simple interface program.
So it's for sure in the same era. Got to have a hit in the nuts in there.
That 'AWWW MY NUTS' made me laugh more than i probably should have

This is so charming in a funny way. Like, watching this when it was first created we would have all been like" wow this is so crazy!" Now we can tell that it's extremely dated, but it's still pretty impressive in its own way.
No one was impressed at the time I made it either. It was dated even when it was made, but a lot of people seem to enjoy it strangely. I try to keep this retro style with anything new I am working on now. It's painful to use this old program as it doesn't assist in the animating at all, it's all the hard way.

One of the first 3DMM movie I ever watched. It was first example of HMC’s I had seen and was pretty blown away at the time.
Wow that's awesome. I was just a 12 year old kid that thought I invented it, until I found the other 3DMM stuff that went even crazier than this. I had to unlist them from my normal channel as they were messing with my other videos, so I am doing an ALL 3DMM channel here for my stuff.

Right, but also the old cartoon had an intro showing them plunging a shower drain and getting sucked in, which is what the "commercial" rap song is from in the movie, the old cartoon show. Super Mario Bros Super Show.
First video on this channel and until then you use a 3D printed Mario for the future videos how epic but it feels like Mario and Luigi went into the mushroom kingdom like the real Mario movie
The old cartoon show started the idea of them getting sucked down a drain so this movie would have been inspired by that.

Hammer Bros deserve it, they are the hardest thing in the first Super Mario Bros game. This was my revenge.
These 3d graphics may be outdated, but, this animation does have some bitchin' music.

Yes 2006, but I've changed that channel to another topic and TH-cam hates mixed video subjects. So I made a new channel for animations. Plus there were time limits before, so now I can upload the full movies, and I can capture them in better quality. It was MADE in 1998 but there were not easily obtained screen capture programs until later.
Why is mario just so bad not even with hair and I still love that kind of mario
This is using an animation program from 1997. Every part needs animated separately so I tried to use the least amount of "parts" possible. Every eye, pupil, ect is a part. The hat is 3 parts alone, the top, the rim and the M. So everyone is simplified down to essential parts. I also made this when I was little so it's not the greatest designs but I think they are funny.

Animated in 1998 yes. I use to have music from the Mario 64 Soundtrack CD as the music recording off of speakers from a microphone, but I was sort of like George Lucas back then, always updating my Movie Maker files with music and stuff. What's not "1998" about it?

@@someuser1253 I see. I just use the shapes and 3D text. Then you have to animate each shape. Each sphere, each cube. It is incredibly painful and agonizing.

@@gastonsitio I always tried to keep them backed up since they are one of a kind files really. I DID lose some, like a nice Star Wars Hoth battle I made which is very sad. But most are saved and I am still posting them here.

Yes, I wanted to make a movie for Mario 2 and 3 also but never got to them. It's just based off the first game only.
The beginning so predicted the current movie, as I thought it would be an adaptation to it just done as if it was 1998.
At least Mario and Luigi are together the whole movie here. But they were always plumbers, so of course they worked on a toilet, ha ha ha.

Oh yes it was. I was 13 in 1998 making it. Tedious and painful but I was motivated to do it. Glad people are seeing now after all this time.
This is Cool little Remasted but it would be Cool if we could See old version Of the Megaman & Mario videos because Those versions I love listen & Watching
I understand that but I was always opening up the projects and updating and tweaking things on my movies, so I need to just make them available here as they are on this channel and try to make a new audience for them. It's been going well enough I may make new ones in the style of these, trying to be retro and simple like these.

this is actually pretty creative, with the text being some props, you where actually a creative child.
I peaked at 13 I guess, still riding this burst of mild intelligence years later. You know those "gifted" kids that just do nothing later in life? yeah... But thank you for the kind words, I am hoping to do more in this style as a sort of "retro" computer animation theme.

@@NavyScoper No one ever mentions the ax, I thought it was a cool bit of how they beat Bowser in the first game that is often never shown again. But that's why I like movie maker, use what is there. There are other ways to do it but that was my little design.
