@dian harden it doesn't do the thief much good. Ring offers free replacement if it does get stolen. The camera would be "locked" to that person's account and the footage would be stored in the cloud so you'd be able to see who stole it. Regardless, it's like a door lock...it keeps honest people away. Always ways to steal.

Yes, after removing the security screws (no different than a Ring directly on the wall).
