  • Its time to see if Lenovo's laptop really has carbon fiber inside! Current Pricing HERE: www.lenovo.com/yogaslimi HUGE thanks to Lenovo for sending over the laptop and Intel for sponsoring the video #ad. Having a light laptop makes travel easier - and this laptop is one of the lightest! The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon supposedly has carbon fiber inside - and its time we find out where that is - along with how modular Lenovo's new laptop might be.

Having direct die contact like that it's way better to have extra, because you need every little bit covered when doing it like that. • @AshrZ
      @AshrZ ปีที่แล้ว +35

      if it has enough ram, I don't see anyone performing ram upgrades. Most of the time it's usually storage because you want more and it's a consumable

Thank goodness, it was hard even back then. But I was witness to the entire evolution, including Apple and the 6502 (I typed that from memory!) - I did machine code for these little beasts back then. I guess that's why I'm hooked to your channel, but mainly it's because you can disassemble any of these little beasts and put them back together again. Hell, I can't even see them anymore.

    The carbon fibre is probably a a short or long fibre SMC as opposed to a fabric or UD. UD wouldn't be stiff enough in the secondary fibre orientation so you'd get a lot of matrix cracking when flexing it. SMC is more than strong enough for a laptop screen such as this, and allows it to be easily stamped in matched moulds for OEM style mass production. I could be wrong but this is how I'd approach making something like this from CFRP
